The diesel engines can be run at many fuels and have a 50% efficency as best. Electric motors have 90%´s efficency. And if you have luck, a Gasoline engine will only have 30%.
The SCR system makes the Euro 5 standard and beyond! But i prefer electric after all =)

@AXL078 get this there will still be oil prodution even if electric cars do become just they won't need to crack as much petroleum cleaning fliuids agents turps , plastic get this there would be more or the polymer production
