There are tones of people out there showing you things with tabs and working in that way, if this ,method dosen't suit people, they have lots of other resources to go to. I want to learn like this, I can't be the only one!.

It's just down to practice mate, if you can attack a shape, say for an solid hour,. playing it mega slowly, do this for a good few days, an hour every day, then slowly increase the speed always trying to make it as clean as possible!.
Care about every note because they are all as important as the next or the previous one!.
you will get there mate, just keep at it, if you want it bad enough, you will get it!.
there is nothing particularly special about me, I just practiced a lot!.
there are two types of sweep shapes in my opinion, static shapes (shapes that use bridged parts) and fluidic shapes (shapes that have pretty much every finger moving every note) i like the latter personally, most like the former.
Get good at fluidic shapes man, they are harder in some ways and easier in others!.
If you go to my channel page and go right to the first page of video's, you should find most of my guitar vids, there are some four string paturns with notes in the description box!.
In all fairness, it is mostly down to practice dude lol, that shape took me about 6 months to get pretty good and I still manage to feck it up every now and then lol.

You're awesome, man. I'm having a lot of trouble with the sweep picking (tapping's a breeze) Some guitarist tell me to mute the strings, some tell me not to. You should do a text lesson with tab. You have some awesome patterns.
I mute as I am playing so as I have picked the string I move my right hand down or arc it down (or both) to mute the strings that way.
there is a complex way of muting where you can move the right hand slightly out of sync with the left and that gives a nice muting sound, also you can release the string on the fretting hand just before you move the picking hand away from that note, that also adds muting.
All the patterns I use are fluidic shapes, meaning there are either no barred notes or just the odd one. I tend to play what would be barred notes with two fingers to keep the shape fluidic.
This may be a personal preference thing, but I hate barring notes, it just feels awkward and like I'm cheating.

course it is a lesson, these are simple 5 string sweep patterns. I am giving you everything you need to learn them. watch the notes I play, listen to the sounds and follow my advice and you will be able to replicate what I do after a lot of practice!.

All the patterns I use are fluidic shapes, meaning there are either no barred notes or just the odd one. I tend to play what would be barred notes with two fingers to keep the shape fluidic.
