Things Enterprise did:

1. Charged the guy for any and all repairs. Damage waiver is void if the truck is taken off road. And some insurance companies won't pay if you voided a contract with the rental company...

2. Charged the guy to clean it. "Like condition" means clean too.

3. Put him on the Do-Not-Rent list FOREVER. And that includes the two other companies Enterprise owns (Alamo and National).

I take it as you don't rent from enterprise. They buy the cheapest cars and unless you live in an area that needs a 4x4 (snow) for half the year, they wont have a 4x4 in most of the country with a rare exception that one slipped into their fleet.

How in the world could enterprise justify charging someone after the car has been turned in. The ERAC employee is supposed to go over the car for damages when it is turned in, after that, its in Enterprises hands. Just buy the $20 extra waiver ontop of the insurance and screw it up, just dont tell them you took it off road, as long as there is a police report, they cant prove anything.
