You know that the Russians had the T34/85 in reserve until the 1990's? A funny and interesting fact that they would keep such an old tank in service for that long. But hey Russia has a history of doing that, they still have T62's in active service.

Russia is stronger today because they now have a much more free society, more so than they ever had in the past. They haven't protested their opinions more freely in this last election, since they did when the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991 after a failed coup attempt on Gorbachev. Just look at all the posts on Youtube.

And ever since Russia was on debt and had money problems a year ago there even weaker. If america owed 1 trillion dollors they would still fight in war because we have power but Russia cant do it because they don't have power.

I dont know who has a stronger fighting spirit (although I would lean towards the Russians there) but the US has an incredible military and money is how it got to be that way. The US VASTLY outspends Russia, NK, AND China put together annually on the military. Im not saying the US is better, but they are far more equipped than any nation on the planet.

@mark12130 you do know that the 1 tsar bomba had shockaves that travelled 3 times around the world and broke windows in NYC from about 10.000 km away right? It made a crater 100-200m in diameter on an explosion from a 3km height you also know that russia still sits on as far a s i know 17.000 nukes if not more (the exact numbers will probably never be known to us). You know that the Russians had the T34/85 in reserve until the 1990's? A funny and interesting fact that they would keep such an old tank in service for that long. But hey Russia has a history of doing that, they still have T62's in active service.

As an American, i plan on joining the Military. If i could i would want to be in Russia's military but thats probably not likely without being born there. With that said i hope America and Russia never end up in war. It would end probably with the destruction of both countires. I think Russian military rifles are far more advanced than americans anyway.
