Sadly, I agree. Child vaccines do play a role, they are not necessarily the cause, but they certainly play a role. All vaccines are mercury based, which is an incredibly powerful neurotoxin, and babies are given similar doses of this to fully grown men. It's not my "opinion" it is a fact, god is not a fact, that is your opinion because there is no factual evidence to support it. I was making a point that some people base their beliefs on facts not on ancient tales from ignorant people.
It is absolutely impossible to know God's will and it is absolutely impossible to know if God exist. If God does exist than I would think a being of such intellect (not displayed in the bible) would respect my unwillingness to believe where there is no evidence

@cc3814 you of all people should know. scientists are now discovoring that the evolution theory actually goes alog with the creation story. In God's time, a day could be a year, and an hour could be a century. and im not saying anything about your opinion, yours is God doesnt exsist and mine is that He does.

You want some evidence for why I think the scientific method works? I don't have to go far to show that to you, for instance the only reason I am able to even communicate with you is because of the scientific method works and developed such piece of technology as the computer and the internet.
I try my best to base my life on evidence and to only make claims that I can actually test and prove to an certain degree of probability.

Probably because the rational and logical concept of only making claims that someone could actual know is catching on. About time we pull ourselves out of the extremely brutish and ignorant times of religion. At least some of the human population that is, can say I have that much hope for the ones who are still trapped within dogma and indoctrination.

if all things are based upon pure chance and matter only -
what will be left of morals? what will your decisions be based upon? on feelings and on what you think that is right. but how will you know? love God and your neighbour as yourself - that is in fact a command and not an opinion. there is a lot of false religion, we will have to fight for differentiation.

I should think it is abundantly clear that our morals are indeed not derived from any holy text. Our morals are deeper than that and extend way past in human history than some book written a few thousand years ago. There are plenty of "commands" in for instance the bible that christians do not follow today. Like murdering homosexuals, now how did we decide that we should not follow that command but follow this other more benign command? The christians used their reasoning faculties to do that.

and your neighbor as yourself!
Jesus preached that first,
it was "revolutionary"
HE revealed that this "golden rule"
summs up all the prophets.

you fell into a fallacy: the Israelites did not "murder" the homosexuals. they did what God told them as punishment. The law of God has not changed concerning homosexuality. The law of God condemns them still, and still the Gospel call is: repent and believe before it´s too late.

Don't mean to butt in here, but Albert Einstein never believed in a personal god, he even mocked believers of a personal god on several occasions. His god was more of a metaphor for the transcendental laws of the universe.
Stephen Hawking uses the word "god" in a similar sense, representing the laws of the universe. In fact, although I think Stephen is an agnostic, his wife claimed he was an atheist.

Having read Stephen Hawking's book by the name " A brief history of time " I can safely say that he is an atheist or an agnostic atheist , because he clearly states in his book that a god could not possibly exist and has strong arguments on it . He even criticized physicists like newton because of their conservative views on those issues .
