Really? There was once I needed the loo on a CROWDED Virgin Trains service with 5 cars, and ALL the loos were out of order, so we complained to the train manager, who let us sit in 1st class & have a working toilet for free!

GNER leased their Eurostars back to Eurostar in Decemver 2005 because the doors closed too slowly and the pantographs were accustomed to run at speeds greater than they were permitted to on the ECML. Ta for asking!

acctually the pantographs were to high and caused too much presure on the OLE south of Grantham

Oh I see you meant what I meant. What I mean is that the eurostars caused a lot of stress on overhead wires south of Grantham, one of the many reasons GNER got rid of the eurostars/

Not quite! Virgin trains lost the franchise to operate on the ECML and Arriva CrossCountry bought them out. Ta for the comment!

Thanks! It's amazing what you can do with Photoshop these days (321901 at Doncaster), Freightliner 66582 & the Voyager were also Photoshopped to give a 'high-speed' effect. More coming soon!
