I know this is a strange question for me to say but, was Geppeto worried that there was fire on Pinnochio's finger because he was scared Pinnochio was going to turn into ashes since he's made of wood? Of course, I'm sure he knew that Pinnochio wasn't feeling the hot temperature of the fire since he's made of wood where Geppeto probably wasn't worried about that.

@afriendofbean Yes, I think so. And what with a boy as curious as Pinocchio, you can be sure Gepetto would be freaking out as he did :-P

@WishfulThinkingArt That's a good point. Probably since Pinocchio doesn't know much, Gepetto would probably get scared about any dangers Pinocchio might get into. Maybe Jiminy Crickett as Pinocchio's conscious should teach Pinocchio about never touching fire.

@afriendofbean Yep, I'm sure he would. And especially because Pinocchio is still a puppet, he shouldn't touch fire. Although...the look on his face is super adorable when he remarks how pretty it looks :-)

@WishfulThinkingArt That's right. It wouldn't be a good idea for Pinocchio to touch fire as a puppet even if it doesn't feel hot to him since he's made of wood. I guess the two reasons why Geppeto got scared was because Pinocchio could turn into ashes from the fire and also Geppeto would have wanted to try his best to be a good father so Pinocchio could become a real boy as Pinocchio mentioned at 1:00 which made Geppeto happy.

Notice how Papa Geppetto's red cap disappears when he grabs Pinocchio's hand with his finger on fire. Then he turns around and blows to put the fire out, notice again his red cap is back on. Then when running he yells where's the bucket, his red cap disappears again. It's back on as he puts Pino's fire finger in Cleo's water bowl... most interesting:))

Yes I noticed that. That was strange. I guess maybe the cartoon artists kept forgetting to draw the red cap on his head. (Of course, Geppeto couldn't of grabbed it constantly to put it on his head since because he was rushing fast to get Pinnochio's finger inside water).

At 2:01 they don't make music boxes like that anymore. Music boxes nowadays are cheap, and the machinery is not even 1/2 as complicated. They're not designed to work for 50 years, like these used to either.

@VideoClipsForBabies I know!! There's something magical and otherworldly about those music boxes, because they were made mostly by hand, and not fast machinery. The ones made of things like fiberglass and gold are so beautiful, not to mention their music-- oh my!!
