My first concert was April Wine opening for Styx at the Checkerdome... Been April Wine fan ever since. They Never got the respect they deserved, thank you KSHE for having finger on pulse......
Great song, I'm a big April Wine fan and I had to look hard to find this one....Hey, any of you St. Louis people remember KWK? I always bounced between KSHE and KWK...The rest of my Radio was never used...LOL
WOW! Been looking for this FOREVER FOR NOW since I found the 45 in my grandparents' barn about 30 yrs ago, so this made it to California somehow. One of MG's 'screamier' vocals, rare in themselves. KCAL 96.7 would have been the ones to give this a spin, KLOS wouldn't know it if it bit them
I've heard St. Louis is one of the only places where Shotdown got radio play. Myles once told the audience, he wasn't sure if he remembered the words, when the crowd was begging for it at Riverport in St. Louis. A KSHE Classic for sure!
@jasbigj YES!!! Finally someone else from St. Louis ^^ Im only 17 and I grew up listening to them... it pains me to know that this stuff is being forgotten by people my age...
This is completely true. I was at that concert & everyone was chanting "shot down, shot down!" & Myles said that hadn't played that song in years & that they probably wouldn't remember how. It was a kick ass show regardless, not a bad seat in the house!
Awesome song,I missed hell out of it,Now if someone can just find kick willy road that would be equally awesome, some of the best tunes got little radio play
