I do find the roster kinda odd. Don't get me wrong, I like the range of characters and its kind of good that there are less obvious choices here, but I'm genuinely surprized CAPCOM excluded such fan favorites such as the X-men, Avengers, Rival Schools, Darkstalkers, Pheonix Wright and of course other popular Street Fighters, purely on the basis of character selection. Surely most gamers would choose say Gambit or Venom over M.O.D.O.K or She-Hulk. Or am I wrong?

@twelve11 There are plenty X-Men and Street Fighters in the roster but they decided not to overrepresent them, not to mention the fact you've got three of the five female Darkstalkers here. The Big Three are here as well.
