i get how the jedi out in the field were killed.. i mean they had no way of knowing, but what the hell happened at the temple? there must have been hundreds of jedi there and they saw them coming?
@luci4777 Remember, only younglings, instructors and a few Jedi Knights were at the Temple. They had been so spread thin by the war, none suspected an attack on the Temple by their own troops.
@lihkan... I used to love the Empire, but did you notice that the stormtroopers can't make their shots count, and they are fool, weak and useless? The Grand Army of the Republic is way better. Besides, the Empire was defeated by a Rebellion, and the Clone Army won the War!
The clones were soldiers following orders. Most people don't get thing from their point of view. FUCK the jedi, most of them deserved it. I am not saying the sith are good or anything. All I'm saying is how many times you see clones dying and the jedi don't give a shit about them? They're not droids for christ sake, they're living beings, they deserved more respect, and when they do what they must, they are faced as villains, sad for Aayla Secura, she was the only one that should have survived :(
@TimeToImplementPlanX I could be wrong, but I think that only a bunch of Jedi survived Geonosis, I would say a dozen or so. But I'm not sure if all the Jedi in the galaxy were there in Episode II.
@doid3r4s Thats true, only a handful survived Geonosis, but most of the Jedi were spread out across the galaxy anyway at that time. Windu took only the Jedi that he had on Coruscant to Geonosis in Episode II
@doid3r4s mmm no dude this scne all jedi died about 98 percent died all over the universe not just in the scenes they show here in genosis only those jedis died there maybe about 20 or less but this scene i about that they are all dying :(
Seeing the Jedi destroyed over the course of like one day by their own troopers, something the CIS had been unable to do over the entire Clone Wars is incomprehensable. A titanic conict which tore the Galaxy apart was Palpatines MASTER plan from the begining, he played both sides all along in order to exterminate the Jedi.
When i first saw this movie in theaters i was10 years old and you dont expect a 10 year old to start crying in a theater that's packed with people but i couldnt help it i have watched the series since i was six and i just started balling when ki-adimundi dies and it just continues from there. this is among john williams best music pieces in my opinion. i still get goose bumps and emotional listening to this song or watching the movie.
I remember reading a Star Wars Graphic Novel about how the chancellor built up a strong relation with the clones especially 501st and the 41st Battalion. the book explains how the chancellor talks to each clone commander personally. this led to close bondings with commanders. this is one of the scenes between Cody and palpertine:
What is your name commander?
Commander Cody sir
Cody. Who is your Jedi General?
General Kenobi Sir
Good. come with me. there some things we need to discuss.....
A really weird thing to me is i really enjoyed the jedi dieing ?! Because 1.) i finally got to see good finally getting crushed by evil for once in a movie. 2.) i was always sick of seeing movies were good is the most powerful and good always wins, in this evil finally got the spotlight.
Keep in mind clones had other hidden orders built in by the Kaminoans some of which included killing or arresting the Chancellor if he went rogue. Clones cant be blamed, they're basically just robots in flesh. Sure, they have emotions, but they cannot disobey.
A brilliant piece of music. I still remember getting a bit emotional watching ep III in cinemas at this scene, especially Aayla Secura's death. The music still gives me goosebumps to this day. John Williams, you have excelled yourself. A true master. Enough said :)
During the waning hours of the Clone Wars, the 501st was discreetly transfered back to Coruscant. It was a silent trip. We all knew what was about to happen, and what we were about to do. @technokiller13 But it doesn't matter who wins, the people or the government, both sides are backed by the same people. Like Darth Sidious had control of both sides, just under different names.
Jedi are too stupid in my opinion. They've taken an army without checking their configuration. Order 66 was implanted in the clones so they were program for killing the jedis....

Moreover, master Syfo Dias was dead ten years ago, and Obi wan does not have had any doubt about the origins of the clones...
@Ofians Well that's the whole point the clones were made to serve the republik. When the empire was declared head of the republik due to the clone war, he became the republik.
@Ofians No it wasen't implanted if it was you see thousands of betrayders they were cloned from jango fett.... Sith hired commanders to do order 66 the best commanders like cody and bacara and others that were mind tricked Remember sith is too strong he is 200x better in Mind tricking then any other jedi because guess what he was in there sight for a long time and his plan went 100% perfect he was a chancellor while yoda can't even see through him.
@FirstAidd I think it was the programm when the clones were made, because not only the Commanders did the Job but aswell the standard clone and I dont think the Sith used his mind-trick thats why im coming to the conclusion that it was in the programm, dont forget that the Sith forseen everything so he told the Count to go to Kamino in the name of Syfo Dias and he asked if there was an speciffic reaction to Order 66- which was eliminate all Traiters of the Republic...The Jedi at the time.
@emogamer96 No they were mind tricked, the only one that almost saw the future was mace windu he said he dosen't trust the boy and he said he senses a plot to destory the jedi he is the most powerful jedi yoda is powerful in a different way and mace windu differen't in another way. Remember windu defeated the emperor but anakin helped emperor rise but he is the chosen one (balance) so he brought balance to the force.
@FirstAidd these men do whatever their superiors tell them too. i dont think they were mind tricked. they did it because it was an order. they cant tell right from wrong they were programmed to follow orders.
@sunburst223 How are you telling me i know about star wars so much. Your forget they come from a human bounty hunter called Jango Fett. They cannot be programmed if they was then they won't be some clone betrayers and they won't be asking any questions of what to do. And also if you watch the clones wars and the new star wars you will learn a lot 20% of clones that disappeared are going against the sith.
@FirstAidd " They cannot be programmed" Mmm...not entirely accurate. I'm reading "Star Wars: Darth Sidious" and Plagueis meets with the cloners, who tell him that in certain species, genetics can be altered to give the clones more of a certain feature. The reason Mandalorians were chosen was because they were loyal, and easy to mass produce. It was also easier to alter their genetic code to make them even more loyal. And in their upbringing, all they knew was "follow your superiors".
I think that the jedis didn´t diserve this! I mean Krell yes Vos no problem, but Aayla,Ki-adi,Plo,Luminara,Barris etc,They were totally incocent!!! And the clones were all cowards, none of them say even a word!! The jedis were their friends!!
And yes I know they were design to be PERFECT SOLDIERS but they are not droids they ARE HUMANS they have common sense!! In star wars the series one said: "If we think something is wrong we say it or we don´t do it Master Yoda, we are not droids."
@MegaXavi999 Lol so when they shot them you could read all of their minds and say they didn't have any doubts? No one said they didn't have any doubts, in fact, not all of them obeyed the order.
@MegaXavi999 They were programed to obey. Sure some of them had doubts. Many didn't follow at all. I'm actually writing an alternate history book (like, REALLY alternate) where the GAR Clones all see the Order before it's issues thanks to a Senate Guard raid by Commander Thire. They all call bullshit and Anakin doesn't turn dark, etc etc and of the SciFi genres get involved too. It should be good.
@MegaXavi999 Most went AWOL. A Mandolaorian named Kal Skirata (Who had already legally adopted twelve clones, ARCs and Commandos, as sons) set up a relocation program for clones who wanted out. He also offered refuge to a few Jedi, after a bit of argument with his former-Jedi adopted son, Bardan Jusik. He eventually relocated around 87 clones.
@FighterGuDude3214 Yeah i blamed palpatine for all of this. If only anakin killed that damn bastard then the sith would've lost and maybe the clone troopers would still be alive now. If you played star wars battlefront 2. THe stormtroopers invaded kamino and started to wipe out the clone troopers. I was heart broken playing that mission and decided to not play it at all as i was forced to kill clone troopers. Always hated the storms anyway. CLones for the win :D
@FighterGuDude3214 No, they knew what was going to happen. At least the 501st did all too well. But yes, the clones could not be blamed. Afterall, they were conditioned since their creation to obey the Emperor.
@Dawnlighter Not true at all. They knew what the order meant, or was supposed to mean, but they had no idea when it would happen, or if it would be enacted at all. (Except for the part where they can't be blamed.)
@Itookthelaw And oftentimes those people were trained that not following orders could cost more lives. In this case, Clones were conditioned to accept that Jedi turned traitor would be unstoppable killers, like an army of Sith. And theoretically, it would be true. Like Project Cadmus born out of fear of the Justice League taking over Earth.
@wunderchivo This is true they were trained from the start to follow any and all order. I personally would rather be a member of the 501st as I wouldn't fancy my changes against superman xD
"What I remember about the rise of the Empire is… is how quiet it was. During the waning hours of the Clone Wars, the 501st Legion was discreetly transferred back to Coruscant. It was a silent trip. We all knew what was about to happen, what we were about to do. Did we have any doubts? Any private traitorous thoughts? Perhaps, but no one said a word. Not on the flight back to Coruscant, not when Order 66 came down, and not when we marched into the Jedi Temple. Not a word."
@IsengardMordor, Idk, probably a little, but clones are taught to follow their orders, which is why that they weren't clone rebellions during the Clone Wars. If those were Stormtroopers, having to turn on their leaders, I bet tehy'd rebel and be all like, "NEVER!!!!" But the clones were like, "K..." so I have to say, he probably did, after. Because I mean with Anakin Skywalker fighting inside, if he was spotted while like being sorry or something, you know Anakin would own him.
What I remember about the Rise of the Empire was how quiet it was During the waiting hours of the Clone Wars the 501st legion was discreetly transferred back to Coruscant It was a silent trip We all knew what was about to happen what we were about to do did we have any doubts any private traitorous thoughts perhaps but no one said a word not on the flight to Coruscant not when Order 66 came down and not when we marched in the Jedi Temple Not a word
As much as I could care less for the Jedi, this is a sad song, really, I don't care for them, their just a bunch of tight-wad, sad old folk, at least as a Bounty Hunter I get to have some fun(going around, doing my own thing, not being bound by some code made up by other's but my own)
The clones didn't have a choice when they made them the Sith that ordered it made the Kamionois hot-wire their minds to follow all of the Emperor's wishes.
when i watch this i feel so sad for clones and jedi alike they trusted each other and the clones were forced to kill jedi they'd known for ages and ages. Cody for example was forced to killObi-Wan!! Clones were very brave and loyal soldiers and should be honored!
If i were a commander, would've taken the order and NOT done it and stay with the jedi just sayin...and Order 66 was definatly a twist in the series i must say.
In epesode 2 it was maybe the emperor that wanted the clone army cause when obi-one got to that planet they said that qui-gon-jinn wanted the clone army but it was maybe the emperor
why did the clones have to betray the jedi!!!!!!

TRAITORS!
MegaXavi999 2 months ago
@MegaXavi999 Orders, man orders.
Order 65- There has been a comm blackout on Coruscant.
Order 66- The Jedi have staged a coup and must be shot on sight.
They were lied to. And deceived. It's not their fault.
FighterGuDude3214 2 months ago 42
@FighterGuDude3214 but they didn´t have any doubt about it?!? I think they know some jedis to much like for execute the order without any doubt.
And could you say me please which is the order 69 everyone is talking about?
MegaXavi999 2 months ago
@MegaXavi999 Lol so when they shot them you could read all of their minds and say they didn't have any doubts? No one said they didn't have any doubts, in fact, not all of them obeyed the order.
letsride84 2 months ago
@MegaXavi999 They were programed to obey. Sure some of them had doubts. Many didn't follow at all. I'm actually writing an alternate history book (like, REALLY alternate) where the GAR Clones all see the Order before it's issues thanks to a Senate Guard raid by Commander Thire. They all call bullshit and Anakin doesn't turn dark, etc etc and of the SciFi genres get involved too. It should be good.
FighterGuDude3214 2 months ago
@FighterGuDude3214 Well, now that you talk about it...would you tell me what happened to the clones who didn't follow the order?
MegaXavi999 2 months ago
@MegaXavi999 Most went AWOL. A Mandolaorian named Kal Skirata (Who had already legally adopted twelve clones, ARCs and Commandos, as sons) set up a relocation program for clones who wanted out. He also offered refuge to a few Jedi, after a bit of argument with his former-Jedi adopted son, Bardan Jusik. He eventually relocated around 87 clones.

@FighterGuDude3214 Cool ;)

@MegaXavi999 All clones follow the order :( They work for the Republic not the Jedi.
ViGgO1111 1 month ago
@FighterGuDude3214 Order 65 is like Order 66, except it applies to the Chancellor.
1234obiwan1 2 months ago
@FighterGuDude3214 Yeah i blamed palpatine for all of this. If only anakin killed that damn bastard then the sith would've lost and maybe the clone troopers would still be alive now. If you played star wars battlefront 2. THe stormtroopers invaded kamino and started to wipe out the clone troopers. I was heart broken playing that mission and decided to not play it at all as i was forced to kill clone troopers. Always hated the storms anyway. CLones for the win :D
drakknight118 1 month ago
@FighterGuDude3214 Actually I don't think it stated "it's not their fault" because they deliberately called them "Jedi traitors!"
planetary109 1 month ago
@planetary109 No they didn't...
FighterGuDude3214 1 month ago
@FighterGuDude3214 No, they knew what was going to happen. At least the 501st did all too well. But yes, the clones could not be blamed. Afterall, they were conditioned since their creation to obey the Emperor.
Dawnlighter 1 month ago
@Dawnlighter Not true at all. They knew what the order meant, or was supposed to mean, but they had no idea when it would happen, or if it would be enacted at all. (Except for the part where they can't be blamed.)
FighterGuDude3214 1 month ago
@FighterGuDude3214 Sad thing is history is full of people who were 'following orders'
Itookthelaw 1 month ago
@Itookthelaw And oftentimes those people were trained that not following orders could cost more lives. In this case, Clones were conditioned to accept that Jedi turned traitor would be unstoppable killers, like an army of Sith. And theoretically, it would be true. Like Project Cadmus born out of fear of the Justice League taking over Earth.
wunderchivo 1 month ago
@wunderchivo This is true they were trained from the start to follow any and all order. I personally would rather be a member of the 501st as I wouldn't fancy my changes against superman xD
Itookthelaw 1 month ago
@MegaXavi999 the clones were desing to obey any orders without hesitation.

Not a word."
lgmmrm 2 months ago
@IsengardMordor, Idk, probably a little, but clones are taught to follow their orders, which is why that they weren't clone rebellions during the Clone Wars. If those were Stormtroopers, having to turn on their leaders, I bet tehy'd rebel and be all like, "NEVER!!!!" But the clones were like, "K..." so I have to say, he probably did, after. Because I mean with Anakin Skywalker fighting inside, if he was spotted while like being sorry or something, you know Anakin would own him.

As much as I could care less for the Jedi, this is a sad song, really, I don't care for them, their just a bunch of tight-wad, sad old folk, at least as a Bounty Hunter I get to have some fun(going around, doing my own thing, not being bound by some code made up by other's but my own)
GeneralSturnn 3 months ago
veeckmang thats so untrue they had no chioce and they do sometimes question orders but they are loyal and the emperor tricked them all into his plot
zortox11 3 months ago
Don't feel sorry for the clones or hate them.
they were created to be the perfect soldiers and the perfect soldier obey's each order that he has been given without thinking if its good or bad.

@mrmastermind29 Yes but iff I were a clone (key word I) I wouldn't have because I am not a clone. I am a regular person. o.0

The clones didn't have a choice when they made them the Sith that ordered it made the Kamionois hot-wire their minds to follow all of the Emperor's wishes.
ciaran877 3 months ago
when i watch this i feel so sad for clones and jedi alike they trusted each other and the clones were forced to kill jedi they'd known for ages and ages. Cody for example was forced to killObi-Wan!! Clones were very brave and loyal soldiers and should be honored!
