  • Traded my DDrum Ash Pocket set to one of these this weekend, and it was a great trade for sure...love em

  • Dude, I'm looking forward to buy this kit, I found a used one that has all mesh toms and snare for 1000$... would you say it's a good deal? cause I gotta choose between that or the TD4... I read they're pretty much the same thing but TD4 has better sounds. But since you can tune all the sounds, where's the problem. And your drum set sounds AMAZING, these are the best sounds I've heard so far on Youtube.

  • Can you do me a big favor?

I wanna know the names of your presets:-)

I just can´t work it out.

    Your drums just sound perfect!

  • @25877852 Its been about 4 years since I made the preset so i can hardly remember it! It is based on Kit 1 on the module with slight changes. I changed the snare and kick, added a splash and china to the tom rims, and may have changed the hi-hat and ride. Also i may have changed the pitch of the snare and toms slightly. cycle through individual sounds for the pads till you find something similar.

  • @romano11drummer -- Thanks dude! I love you;-)

  • PLEASE ANSWER! in the module, to play at normal drums sound, which number/name of sound should I select ? PLEASE ANSWER!

  • @pzdandrea To play normal drums ? there is a few 'natural' sounding presets on the module, number 1 being the main one i suppose. Use your ears and go through everyone till you find the preset you think is most 'normal'. If not, create your own kit via edit/setup or shift+edit/setup

  • can u add extra cymbals on this one?

  • I have got a big problem panning the sound on the drums.. How can you connect it to a harddisk recorder, so that you can make a song??

exampel: My hi-hat is panned so most of the sound comes from the left speaker.. but when i connect it to my harddisk recorder all of the sounds comes from the middel..

  • @25877852 The toms are from the preset of kit '1' on the module, if i remember correctly i changed the snare, kick, the crash and added a china and slpash to the tom rims, and probably changed the pitches of the toms; it's been years!

How are you connecting the module to your recoreder ?, you could try using a small/mini jack to jack from the headphone which is a mini stereo output to a line-in input on your recorder. Also there is two R and L outputs which needs the bigger jack cables.

  • @romano11drummer...... I just use 2 jack cables.. But it is stil not REAL stereo... Maby i schould try a mini jack to jack!

    Thank you for your answar!!

  • Is this your own user kit or is it one of the preset drums?

  • dude im getting some td6's and im a complete newbie, what's your setup.

  • Pretty skillful btw.

  • does anyone know what preset that is? like what #?

  • i'd like to know the same. just bought one of these today on ebay

  • oh im dying for the td -6 how ever its discontinued and im broke :(

  • sounds like either the custom user kit, or number (it think...somewhere in the 70 range) 73 Jzthtx. its like Jazz Tht. X or something. on the td-6V not td-6 :)

  • are thos gibraltar mounting clamps? the stock roland ones absolutely SUCK.

  • Comment removed

  • Not loud enough lol. Jk i think it was pretty good

  • good drumming but td-6 sounds so artificial I sold it and bought amazing td-3

  • depends how you set it up...

  • So the TD-3 sounds are better than TD-6?

  • Haha I just bought it! :D

    It's a great thing!!

I'm in love with it, though i'm still a beginner.

  • Ha i like the placement of the module. Good video though.

  • Does it have a double bass kit or setting where you use the hi-hat as the second pedal??

  • use a double bass pedal

  • Do you find that with the floor tom on this kit, that it likes to reverb no matter what you do to change the settings? I have this problem with my TD-6V.

  • I'm building mine from real toms and snare drums, and pintech toms + the td-6v. All with mesh heads and Roland designs. I'm up in 800 dollars now.

  • After this video,I'll maybe not buy a TD-9 lol

  • the best td 6 desmostration on youtube ,, thanks...

  • Soundwise, the hihat, bass drum and cymbals are really good, toms are so-so and the snare SUX.

But cool video, well played, thanks!

  • Exept the bell sounds false /S.

  • DUDE! You have totally renewed my faith in this module (TD-6V). :-)

Don't feel like upgrading to a TD-9 anymore! Hehehehe. At least for several years to come.

Just hope you could help me out, what's your rim sensitivity setting on the snare pad?

Thanks! Is this the original Rosewood patch, or did you make your own?

  • dont be fooled by the TD-9...its not going to be better than the TD-6v. its just got some gimmicky audio playing capabilities. they are more than likely going to have the same sounds/engine.

    also, great playing

  • Great man! My TD-6's are hopefully being shipped ! I have been getting pumped up about them from watching all of these videos. May I ask what program you used to make the video?

  • yeah they are loads of fun! i used my webcam to record me playing, cubase to record the sound and edited in windows movie maker, easy peasy! have fun!

  • hahaha hey bud how much is a TD6 for cheap cause I am thinking of getting one Im from the us and I want to add a double kick pedal to it.. Do you know how much that would be all together?? Lemme know thanx

  • why dont you go on ebay and musiciansfriend and find out for yourself you lazy dumbass.

  • Sounds good dude...
