i follow no religious group, but i am a good wholesome person. do you see this as a paradox? I believe theres a will to be good in all of us, but that will is weak in a lot of us today because of all the distractions we have in this modern era. @truthseeker010101 Sorry I don't accept Gnostic teachings. Firstly, the gnostic gospels were written a lot later after Jesus died than the gospels. Peter, the main man in terms of apostledom, affirmed Paul as an apostle (you can find this in 2 Peter).
The fact that the gnostic gospels were written so much later meant that they couldn't have been written by an apostle or an apostle's disciple, so they weren't accepted as reliable. Good luck hypocrite.

My personal belief is in Christ Jesus and ONLY in Him. It's not a question of the good works outweighing the bad deeds. Would donating to the Salvation Army absolve a murderer of murder? Jesus Christ thought us to forgive the ones that offend us. If Jesus Christ forgave the people that put Him to death and betrayed Him how much more will our Father forgive us for our sins when His love and mercy is infinite, unconceivable. @truthseeker010101 Sorry I don't accept Gnostic teachings. Firstly, the gnostic gospels were written a lot later after Jesus died than the gospels. Peter, the main man in terms of apostledom, affirmed Paul as an apostle (you can find this in 2 Peter).
The fact that the gnostic gospels were written so much later meant that they couldn't have been written by an apostle or an apostle's disciple, so they weren't accepted as reliable. Good luck hypocrite.

One time, I shared the gospel with a foriegner at the mall. She was Hindu. I was going through the ten commandments, and was telling her about sin. She cut in and said, "I have a different religion." I just continued to talk to her. I explained to her that if God was just, she should go to hell. Then I shared about Jesus did for sinners. Her eyes lit up. It was an "aha" moment. she probably thought, "wow! something that actually works!" This vid. reminded me of her. :)

I'm sorry, but doing "research" on Wikipedia is no substitute for reading THOUSANDS of holy texts and the comparative/analytical literature surrounding them, and then actually researching the rich history of those texts. If you've read The Bible and all of its related texts (which is no easy task), that's a beautiful thing, but this video is, at best, a very corrupted, SparkNotes-type summary of religion that any devout Buddhist, Muslim, Jew, etc. would probably laugh at.

One shouldn't RUN from sin, you should deal with it (sin), or it will wind up nagging at you longer.
There is only one way to remove sin, and the all religions that I know of, anyway, don't perform it: It's the removal of every lobe of the brain, besides the Parietal lobe, as well as castration. If you could remember to breath, you'd basically be a manikin.

Wow!!How true!They claim to be bearing fruit "for the Lord",but when the rubber meets the road and the going gets tough,they show their true colours,making the word of God that says "there is no one righteous,not one.No one does good" true because He cannot lie!By His grace He saved us,and declared us righteous ONLY by faith because He knows the end from the beginning,knows He'll give us a new heart and write His Law in it,but we still have to work out our salvation,and die to self.God bless u.

(2)But longsuffering does not mean we have to permit,as in tolerance, bad behavior.Mathew 18:15 and Luke 17:3 tells us what to do,NOT court cases and lawsuits etc.It does not end there, Matthew 5:44 and Romans 12:14 tells us how to further handle the situation.Titus 1:9 Tells us to hold fast the faithful word as has been taught to us(the Spirit will also teach u),that we may be able by sound teachings both to advice and to convince or convict the gainsayers or those who contradict.
