1: looking down their noses at other players less powerful than them

2: sucking up to other players more powerful than them in hopes that those players might rise them up even higher so they can look down at even more players than before

thats the basis behind any MMO its the reason I stay solo because most players only want to grp until they find a bigger coat tail to ride on, but its like that in most MMOs

Most of you guys are ridiculous, having no knowledge in video game development, don't you know that graphics is much easily to change than actual gameplay? Actual gameplay takes an entire overhaul of the games interface and foundation, while graphics is just a matter of updates and a matter of the users computer. Will the graphics get better sometime? there are probably more players in European servers, I think the game when it first came out had lots of people, but then a lot of them quit due to bugs server shutdown ect.. But Lately a lot of new features have been added. Darkfall has a chance to rise again!

Great video that displays the uniqueness of Darkfall. To those not impressed by graphics or animations, DFO isn't about that. Darkfall is about an open world with roaming bands of players sieging cities and fighting open world roamind beasts like the Kraken. No instancing or controlled enviroments, the Kraken can turn up anytime and shit on your day just like another player/clan can also.

When I'm buying an FPS today I'm buying it becouse of the great gameplay, graphics, animations, sound, story/plot - everything has to be included thats how FPS games work today. If they fail to deliver any of these aspects in a good package, they might not recieve their wanted support.

Personally i dont feel a mmo must necessarily excel in every aspects, but i don't want it to fail to deliver any of them. It needs to deliver a solid gameplay.
