Yes, research the NWO! Because, in the future, there will be a cabal of greedy, evil men who hold most of the world's power and wealth, abusing the people of the world and their resources toward their own selfish ends, using fundamentalist religion and ideology to manipulate us.
Er, isn't that what they've been doing all along? Instead: HELP CREATE A TRULY 'NEW ORDER' by dumping the bosses off your back.
I love the way almost all of these New Scientist vids have people saying 'It's fake!' 'It's just computer graphics!' etc. Of course, the good people at NS have nothing better to do with their time than fake scientific video clips....
Hi Loop1979, it's not an artist's impression. The video is derived from three images from the Hubble Space Telescope. The video zooms in on the first one, then cuts to the second and zooms in on that, etc. YouTube won't let me give you the links, but go to spacetelescope dot org and look for images heic0715d and heic0715c.
Actually David Shiga, who wrote the article, has just pointed out to me that I've made a small slip in my previous remark. Only one of the images was actually taken using the Hubble Space Telescope, (though they are all available on its website). The other two were taken from the ground; the first by astrophotographer Akira Fujii and the second by the Digitized Sky Survey. Sorry!
Did anyone else see the bear at 0:30?

Cool stuff! Very nicely done!
Space is truly infinite... in fact so huge it defies human intellect.
Sam Neil in 'Space' put it well for the layman.
'Theres infinite more stars in the universe, than there are singles grains of sand on Earth'.
Thx for the vid NSVideo, excellent!

You sure? It kinda looks more lie a dolly-in than a zoom.. and to dolly in that far is quite.. unlikely.
In a zoom you don't get the perspective-shifts
