He wanted to make sure he released the best he could. Also, 2010 Reading, Delonge begins to actually start crying tears of joy during Stay Together for the kids. He does care.

@TomRobinsonYeh do you happen to recall the horrible live quality of blink 182 2002-2004? totally Tom not caring about his live performances. i totally got the impression both now and then that he thought it didnt matter what he did on stage, the kids would still love it no matter what. maybe now he cares, but he didnt then.

I do agree that at times no, he did not put as much effort in as he could but that was because he was having fun. I know I would much rather be messing up and having way more fun than play it all correctly and rather be somewhere else.

@TomRobinsonYeh i could see that if you were referring to his guitar play. truely in 2002 there were some good performances. but the pop disaster tour is where he began intentionally changing the way he sung. and by 2004, he was horrible at singing. nothing was good about it. their "last tour" with no doubt was terrible. obviously this is my opinion, but i went to these shows and i was shocked how bad they were.
