Definitely one of my favourite Disney films when I was little other than Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermaid. I remember having a 101 Dalmations-themed birthday party when I was about 3 or 4 years old. The party hats looked like Dalmation puppy heads made of coloured cardboard and I think there were also paper plates and cups that looked like they had Dalmation spots on them. It was really cute! I really love the technique of how it all was drawn. It doesn't look clean ink but you know, like kinda "fuzzy" "furry", don't know better way to describe it. I like that a lot. Gives this animation a whole different style. And this movie is also one of my favs in my collection.

Bill Peet is a MASTER storyteller! He single-handedly did the screenplay adaption from the book, and ... gasp ... did the ENTIRE storyboard for the whole film!! I don't think non-animation people can really appreciate what a MONUMENTAL and ENORMOUS task that is!!
