so easy to beat the first gym against rock, if u choose piplup beat it with bubblebeam, if u choose turtwig beat it with razor leaf and if u choose chimchar evolve it to monferno and let it learn mach punch and there u go u just beat the first gym.

@MrJerbear18 On another 4th Generation Pokemon game, use Pal Park to get it if your Tailow is from 3rd gen. Then, go upstairs to the union room and trade with both DS games. You need 2 DS systems btw...that probably all sounded confusing

@funnymonkeys5 after finishing it completely, go to Survival Area (on the island northeast of Sinnoh), do the Stark Mountain line of sidequests, then go to the Battle Ground. Everyday, you can fight several gym leaders, it changes daily... They become more powerful the more you battle them, until like 90 plus or so, I forget.

I just started to play platinum and ur walk throughs help .. Alot

And guys easy way to trade is ... First if u have a GBA game+console ( gameboy advanse sp ) you and u got gamecube u can trade ur best pokemon in ur gba game to ur pokemon on gamecube like pokemon colloseum ... then trade it from there to ur DS ( pokemon platinum) and u dont need wifi for that because gamecube to ds/gba needs a cable ;p meaning no wifi is needed .. thats how i have good starts in all pknm games ;p 6 pknm lv100 :D

I believe Hidden Powers Power is based on the overall potential of EV's or IV's each individual Pokemon has. It also helps determine what kind of elemental attack HP will be. I haven't really messed with HP all that much but it can get really complicated!

What is the point of mud sport? It can only be learned by ground pokemon, and they dont really need to weaken electricity's power, since they are immune to it

i have one thing to recomend for the gym if you chose chimchar and didnt wana waste time and evolve it... Machop the thing is beast in the gym and at lvl 10 it learns karate chop not faster then mach punche but more has more power
