bobby is very talented. when they were doing the cool it now tour and he would do mr telephone man, he would extend that song up to 20min and that pissed off the rest of the guys. when the group would do their dance steps and choreography, bobby wanted to stand over the crowd(or in the crowd)shaking and gyrating and that pissed off their management and forced the rest of the group to vote him out. if u asked the group today, they thought it was bullshit to let him go.

bobby wasnt the most handsome mutha but he WAS talented. with the NE, he was an original member(with ricky & mike). ralph joined 2yrs later and ronnie was the last member. the point is; bobby felt like he was being "cut out" of songs he felt he could sing. in candy girl, bobby still had his kiddie voice and u could hear his voice a lot. from cool it now on, it was almost ALL ralph and bobby resented that.
