@sanpit01 yes but dubai couldn't afford it at the moment, nor do i think now that they will ever host the olympics as abu dhabi practically owns dubai and so if there is an olympics in the UAE it would be in abu dhabi :)

It will be great if Dubai wins 2016 Olympics. Why has it withdrawn or did it ever bid for the olympics? Rio, however, is a very interesting venue with all its carnivals. It can make a remarkable opening ceremony. Tokyo will be undermined by Beijing and people around the world still has fresh memories of the Beijing Games. but Tokyo can make a high tech opening ceremony.
