Great story, Dusty! Puts me in mind of something that happened when I was 9 years od, back in '63. My mom was feeding cracked corn to our chickens, when a red tail hawk swooped down and grabbed one. She saw red, grabbed her .222 and knocked the thing down before it was a hundred feet off of the ground. Peacock proud, I cut off the birds feet and took them in to school, for show and tell.
