@ryankosik18 It's mainly the type of culture and music Phish play. Like the Grateful Dead and other "Hippy" bands of the 60's and 70's, Phish's music is experimental and heavily improvisational. They also put on large music festivals (remember Woodstock), encourage artistic freedom (through costumes, elaborate sets, and light shows), and put on a different show every night.

Thats me. Very much into the jambands. Only because they don't need what all those other idiots do that I mentioned in my last post. They don't need the stupid big hit single, hit album or hit video. They can draw people without any of that. Play great live shows and great music. And still be themselves without putting on any kind of airs or anything. And thats all I want from a band when I'm listening to them or seeing them live.
