Hans Zimmer used it primarily in the movie "Hannibal", Vide Cor Meum is actually on the movie soundrack. It was used partly in Kingdom of Heaven but is not on the soundtrack.

Beautiful video and piece from Kingdom of Heaven, but I honestly think the King Arthur soundtrack would have fit better. It's more triumphant and would have fit the battle scenes better.

@Tanzo158 He also used it in the most disgusting movie I've ever seen, Hannibal, sequel to Silence of the Lambs. I can't understand how such a pretty song was used in the most visually appalling movie. I have only seen the movie because Gary Oldman is in it playing Mason Verger, under 6 hours worth of make up.

@Tanzo158 Actually, it's not. The song is "Vide Cor Meum," which was composed by Patrick Cassidy. And while it was used in Kingdom of Heaven, that movie was scored by Harry Gregson-Williams, not Hans Zimmer. Still, it is an exceptional piece.

Kingdom of heaven is Harry Gregson-Williams' work. this piece of music was first used in Hannibal but the opera was not written by Zimmer ....
