  • the sound quality's a lot better than i was expecting, cheers for uploading

  • Well he wasn't in the band when this song was written, so he probably didn't make the string part for this song... but I'm not positive the EP version has strings, so maybe he did.

  • didn't he co-write this song?

  • Probably. I read that he makes some of the group's string arrangements..

  • he co-wrote every violin part in their music

  • For your info it wasnt the dickhead camera guy snickering.

    Kind regards, the cameraman

  • lol

  • I find this version very emotive. The AF version with him carries alot of energy but this stripped down version of Owen alone really lets you catch every word.

Sounds like the cameraman had a slight snicker after Owen started to sing. Good recording.

  • His voice was alittle off but he did great, I really love this version, I don't think it lacks of emotion, to me its more sad than the Arcade version, although I do prefer the Arcade Fire more better

  • It was good musically, however I think his voice is a little to choppy in this. I also think it lacks the power and emotion of the arcades version.

  • well technically it is arcade fire's version

you know... he is IN the band

  • Even if there isn't power and emotion it is still performed perfectly by Owen Pallett

and if you look to the right on the arcade fire version at rock en siene

    oh that face looks familiar
