All you people following this man need to read through the book of Romans camping out on Chapter 3- 8 especially. Romans 3: 23 tells u as plain as day that you are a sinner through and through, as we all are. ( Gen 3 Adam's rebellion along with his children- us) YOu need to read in chapter 4 how observing the 10 will not bring you redemption. I would say that the NON- born again person is still under the law. The born again Christian has the law fufilled via faith in the only person the Father ever said he was well pleased with, his son, the God man, Jesus Christ. Matt 19:16-22, Is about the rich young ruler. He asked what good thing he must do 2 receive eternal life. Jesus told him 2 keep what? The outward ACTIONS of doing these sins are easy to control, but the internal THOUGHTS and Internal WANTS bore of the sinful nature are what really matter. It is not enought to not murder, Jesus ramped it up and said that anger was tandamount to murder. That lustful THOUGHTS were tandamount to the act of intercourse outside of marriage. So, yes I would say the dual natured Christian tries to keep the commandments about love, but is woefully inable to 100 % of the time, only Jesus qualifies....

I sent you another scripture in Colossian 2 that talks about how these "rules" do no profit whatsoever to get you to God/holiness and do nothing to cure the sinful nature. They have an appearance of spiriutuality, but are man made attempts that fall short. However, if you personally for health reasons choose to abstain from shrimp/pork that is fine. But I suspect your reasons are more in line with what Col 2 was addressing. You can't tell people to abstain, when God made all..
