  • Holy Shit where did you Find this!?

  • I PITTY THE SORRY PIECE O' CRAP WHO DISLIKED THIS VIDEO

  • Opening riffs are so fucking good!

  • What other band offers their BLOOD these dayslike these guys did back then?

  • Bon was the shit. saw AC/Dc about 5 months before he died. I'd been a fan since '77 or so, when one of my bandmates got hold of a copy of the bootleg "Let There Be Rock"". Been in love with them ever since. Angus = my guitar idol. Bon = one of the finest frontmen to ever front a band, if not THE finest.

  • @unightprowler ITS LEMONAAAADE!...there ought to be some more!

  • R.I.P. Bon Scott !

  • This Song is a little bit better as the Highway to Hell Album Version this is the 2 Take on the Highway To Hell Album Right ?!?!?!

  • i like this version better

  • @unightprowler If Bon had used lemonade in a song you can be sure it'd be a euphemism for something much different, still yellow but much warmer........

  • Shit. Justin was here

  • @unightprowler He could sing about gay sex, and it would still rock!

  • @Flagg1991 but he wouldn't do.

  • thanks for posting this !!

  • The Brits perfected it....Maiden,Motorhead,Slade,Sabbath,The Who,Jethro Tull, and if I remember right ,isn't Uriah Heep..British ?? ;) And one of my faves Deep Purple also......I'm from the USA

  • @ACDCRockandRoll178 this was recorded old style AC/DC, after If You want Blood their albums got more polished

  • I like his voice on this but I like the lyrics on the final better!

  • great song

  • hmm...i do prefer this version. although both are awesome.

  • consert soon..on valle hovin, norway..30 may...ac/dc is fucking awesome..

  • The demo versions of for example this and Beatin Around The Bush are better than the ones on Highway To Hell at least if you're looking for a true Bon Scott sound, they made it a bit poppier only to please the friggin americans

    AC/DC Rock My Heart Out!!

  • @ACDCFan15S. fuck your poppier you loser. we americans invented rock n roll. we can take anything you fuck face

  • @56nickjames Its true you f..kin fag, as soon as they smoothed the sound America picked it up, a tip: if you dont know anything about AC/DC or their albums sales in different country STFU!

Sweden on the other hand was one of the countries AC/DC toured most often in their early years because we embraced them even if they didnt had Robert John ''Mutt'' Lange as a producer to smooth their sound. If you deny that Highway To Hell had been americanized you're just plain stupid.

  • @56nickjames If you wanna prove me wrong to think you're just another selfcentered american just say Im right because I am. Aks anyone who know anything about AC/DC, many people I know have said the same and music reporters. And thats because we know the truth, if you still say Im wrong then you're helpless

  • @ACDCFan15Swe I'm English. The Americans DID invent rock 'n roll. Granted they lost it a bit, but all rock 'n roll credit goes to them.

  • @maxinator96 Invented their own rock n roll yes, they cant stand anything with a harder/rougher sound especially if its not american. They want big productions and they got it with Highway To hell, Back In Black and For Those About To Rock thats why AC/DC made it in the states

  • i like these lyrics better than the final version

  • lol

  • I like that it's a longer version of the song on the Highway to Hell album cause I never want any AC/DC song to end. I like this song. AC/DC 4EVER!

  • I prefer the Highway to Hell version but I have listened to it so much that i'm starting to like this one more :D

  • bon r.i.p!

  • be great in some war movie

  • @WWSuperman i use playing Fable II at the end!

  • i like this one, loved the riff

  • Personally I think that the demos on Bonfire of songs that were remade and released on Highway To Hell was better as demos. No way Highway To Hell would have been as succesfull without the little changes in the sound (softening, delay) and the details but to me the demos sounds much more Bon Scott.

Highway To Hell was the beginning of AC/DCs sound with Brian in the early years and I just like AC/DC best when they are totally Bon Scott.

(AC/DC is still my fav. band with Brian, he ROCK!)

  • o.O very very beautiful! AC/DC're the Rock 'N Roll's king of all time! xDD

  • and they still werent satisfied and put out at least on other take?!?!

  • christ, can this guy sing!

  • Sweet, AC/DC's Voltage needs to be spread.

  • yeah... he can sing about venarial diseases and make it rock.... oh shit ... he did

  • thats a kickass acdc song, the song says "if you want acdc, you´ve got it" !

  • it seems slower i like it!! ACDC ROCK!!!! no band like them

  • "In the book Let There Be Rock The Story Of AC/DC it said that Bon played the drums on some of the demos for Highway To Hell, now I don't know if it's true or not but, you can't rule it out.Bon did know how to play the drums and Phil Rudd might not have been around. Then again it could mean nothing, of course it'd be cool if you could see Bon sing and play though R.I.P. Mr. Scott---------"

  • This is definitely Phil.

  • yeah this sounds like Phil, but on one one of the demos(back seat confidential I think) is the one if any Bon played on,of course Phil probably did all of these I was just saying what was from that book.Bon still would like to see Bon playin' drums and singing

  • bon played drums for on of the other 2 bands he was affiliated with before ac/dc

  • Bon actually tried out to be AC/DC's drummer, not singer

  • fucking awesome!!!

    what a great gretsch sound!!!

  • Wow, diff. lyrics and I like it! Real rare, awesome!!

  • this is sick!!

  • sick Shadow?? explain!

  • this youtube is great loads of dc never heard this song rocks

  • OMG

I love this version way more!

  • Great version of a great song.

Bon Scott's vocals are so raw and powerful.

How sad..he went WAY too soon.

  • these lyrics are incredible. AC/DC still rocks but they were never as funny and nasty after Bon's death.

  • @boredagainpiston but they are still the best band ever

  • Lemonade does rock though :P

  • bon had a good run brians on board and they still rock ac/dc sounds great with any1

  • haha very true!!

  • This is awesome! Both versions Rock!

  • Really awesome YOU ROCK ANGUS!!!!

  • sweet.

  • one of my favorite AC/DC songs to play. I wish Bon was still around.

  • Correction, best rock n roll band in the WORLD.

  • Someday I'm gonna buy the Bonfire box set. It's just...god-like.

  • I love both versions.

  • The best version of this song is the live one from 1979 (at Hammersmith).

  • Bloooooooood on the sheeeeeeeeeeets!!!

  • Ha Ha Ha Ha!

  • alittle too slow for my taste.

  • This version is good, but I perfer the one released. It's hard to pass up the "blood and the streets, blood and the rocks, blood in the gutters, every last drop"

  • yeah, but its also 60 bucks. lol

    It's worth it though.

  • Volts is the 4th of 5 CD's of the AC/DC Bonfire CD Package released in 1997 with rare live tracks, alternate takes, and previously unreleased material

  • I love both versions: The crunch of this version, and the rapid-shot power of the final version.

  • yea

  • I think the solo in this version is better

and this version is awesome just like the other one

  • why couldn't they make a compilation of all the australian songs that were released with the australian albums.... or better yet, they should make a box set with all unreleased songs from Bon to Brian.

  • Ok the later version might sound more powerfull but hey this is AC/DC. It`s never bad!

  • fuckin right!!

  • i like this one so much better it sounds better slower

  • No, you're wrong, both sound better, you know why?, because AC/DC always rocks.

  • u know what ok fine ur right

  • wow..this is so cool.diff beat and words..sick!!!love it

  • Nice to hear different lyrics on a classic...

  • best version

  • this is badass, but i for sure like the official one better.

but, anything with bon scott and the boys is magic.

  • There is one song I bet you haven't heard (RockNRollDamnation3) is BlackBalled. It is an Ultra Rare Demo but how were you able to get all these songs.

  • Yet again, I have ACDC VOLTS. I like the other version

  • i agree i wish they did that to all there songs..

  • I just like hearing this as it's kinda like listening to the soul of the song, before they slicked it up with production and Back up vocals. I love the final Version but hearing where it came from is like an added gift!

  • I love hearing the making of the song

    yesssssssssss

  • its animal !!!!!!!!!!!

  • wow!! this is awesome! did they slow down the guitars or just put in some enhancements?

  • I actually liked Bon's voice on this version better. Sounds more natural. But the guitars sound a lot better on the final record!

  • This version is not at all produced right? More like a demo. Highway to hell is heavily produced, like the next two albums of Mutt Lange. All of them has a slightly slick FM sound too them thats not quite ac/dc. (how can a compromise ever be rockn roll?) I like this version more and more, even the halffinished lyrics.

  • True. I actually prefer how the tone of the chorus vocals "you got it" is opposite from the final version. Also I'm pretty sure that the solo is a total improvisation.

  • @RockNRollDamnation3 I like all of ac/dc's songs, no matter what take or whatever. Anything ac/dc's good enough for me.

  • Superthanks!

  • wow what i difference! it sounds so weird hmmm still an awesome song the final version is way better

  • totally awesomeeeeeeeeeeeeee where did you find this? You break into The albert AC/DC vault lol jkz jkz jkz

  • Guess it was Albert himself who posted....

  • fucking awsome
