I've played and loved both, and now I'm selling all my paintball shit 'cause honestly now that I compare, to MY OPINION paintball sucks, for the way that I like to play. Yes paintball marks you, but that shit's so easy to wipe off, and after a few shots you can't tell which were there and which weren't, so it's easy to cheat in both games. Airsoft is a game of honor and most of the time people don't cheat. OPSGEAR sells airsoft too btw!

If there weren't refs Everywhere in Airsoft which most of the time there Isn't then most people would cheat EVERY chance they get. And when your weraing over 75 pounds of combat gear you are NOT going to feel a 6mm plastic pellet bouncing off of you in the slightest.

"OPSGEAR sells airsoft too" Anywhere that sells paintball sells airsoft. Yet Opsgear ALWAYS uses paintball for Live combat training.

Systemas are also used for tactical training. I've played both so don't talk if you haven't played airsoft a few times at least. Airsoft's all about milsim. I don't say people don't cheat. BUT people can cheat in both airsoft AND paintball. I've done that many times in paintball, just wipe the "paint" off, in fact, after you get shot so many times, you can't tell what shots were most recent. I like it better and cheating is something we have to deal with in every game, even video games.

And yet it's even easier to cheat in airsoft. because the 6mm plastic pellet leaves no identifiable mark what so ever. Pretty much 90% of your comment is based on the concepts of cheating and how easy it is to do in both games. Paintball leaves paint airsoft leaves nothing. A paints plat actually takes time and A VERY Identifiable motion with your Hand to rub off. Something which is far easier for a ref to spot than a tiny plastic BB bouncing off of you.

It may be easier but I know for a fact most people call their shots especially when somebody's watching even if they're in their team...they don't want to get that reputation. I don't play w/ admins except for big scenarios, so it's that easy to cheat when you play just w/ friends...and usually you see when you hit someone so this is only an issue when you're blind firing or you're spraying around when they're running. You like paintball period. There's no point arguing about this 'cause...

I clearly said it's a matter of prefference...I preffer airsoft over paintball for many reasons which I've stated, and cheating isn't an issue for me I have a hell of a time playing out there and it's more fun for me than paintball. After all it's all a fuckign game meant to be fun, when I go to war, those rules won't matter 'cause you only get one shot, when you're out, you're out of the game for good. For now airsoft will do it for me, if you wanna get serious lets talk about war.

On My last week of Airforce TACPA Parachute training My Chute malfunctioned and didn't deploy properly (defective stitching) As a result I fell Much Faster than I should have and broke seven bones. now I have two steel dowels in my pelvis, a rod in my leg and a plate in my arm. After I healed up they gave me a choice of either flying a desk or an honorable discharge. I wasn't about to fly a desk.

I'm sorry to hear that...I'm goin' into the Army as Infantry that's why I like airsoft for now...sounds crazy but I want to see what it's like, I want to get deployed. I'm not saying I WILL like it but I want to experience it, and honestly I still think there's no point in arguing 'cause it's a matter of taste, paintball against airsoft is like arguing about music. My point is that one day I'll be shooting people w/ real guns and I won't have to yell "CALL YOUR HITS" lol

I like to climb around shit like trees or roofs a lot, and I just throw my Classic Army M24 in the back or even w/ my M4 and I don't have to worry about dropping the hopper or a remote line getting stuck in a branch. My rifle shoots .20 bb's at 550 FPS but I use .43 graphite bb's at 450 FPS. Paintball would never take sniping to that level for me. Paintball's more of a sport, airsoft is war simulation, I'm a war freak so airsoft does it for me, others like paintball, that's fine.

I used to play mil-sim paintball, I own a RAP17 pistol from RAP4...I discovered airsoft and love it much more than paintball but that's my individual choice. I like mil-sim, and nothing comes closer to that than airsoft. BB's are more accurate, there's hop-up, heavy weight bb's, tightbore barrels and tons of upgrades. The guns are 100% realistic looking, there's no need for a full face mask, and no messy paint on your gear. Also, no annoying hopper or gas tank to carry around.
