  • Yogi & Boo... Where's the picknick baskets...

  • Nobody should be in favor of feeding bears in any circumstance. Bears should not be habituated to humans under any circumstances. You are tampering with nature and you will create a situation where bears depend on humans for food. This will cause bear attacks, bear raids of property, and death. If somebody dies in this region of a bear attack, it is is on this guy's head.

  • Bears look like dogs.

  • bears have troll faces.

  • I've often thought that the human animal would do well to create a world much like that of the '60's TV cartoon, 'The Jetsons.' Because that way we could let animals be themselves and not have conflicts with them. They'd benefit greatly by humans living in ultra-modern cities high off the ground far away from them, and the insanity that I see in this video with all the kind-hearted but misguided people in it only serves to reinforce my idea of deliberately pursuing a Jetson's world ... .

  • @guyNbluejeans everyone was forced to move to the sky after the polar caps melted.

  • these bears look like big rotwilders

  • The bears seemed well behaved! I doubt they would storm into town and expect to be fed like video says.

  • @2tame4fame Bears are opportunistic. These bears would not hesistate to tear through a car for food or maul a human carrying a sandwich in their pocket if thats the only food around. Feeding bears like this is ensuring their death.

  • I have worked as a Intern at the Vince Shute Wildlife Sanctuary. Vince Shute started logging in the very spot the Sanctuary over 50 years ago. He began to feed the bears instead of shooting them so they wouldnt raid the logging cabin. Should he have started? Absolutely not. But after feeding the bears for 50 years alone, an organization was established in order to educate people about black bears & also prevent was would happen if it had stopped after Shute died. And, they are still "bearish"

  • Bears stop being "bearish" when they get used to being fed or eating trash. They get used to people and people end up injured. Typically Rangers tag and then kill the bears in National Parks if it turns into a panhandler.

Bears eat campers backpacks around here. Check out the bear I recorded while hiking Mt Michell in NC. It was picking off campers backpacks at the back country (Commissary Ridge) campsite. It is about a 2 mile hike from the summit down the mountain ridge to these tent sites.

  • bear.org

  • A fed bear is a dead bear... learn people... these are wild animals

  • An accident just waiting to happen

  • cutee

  • i want a bear hug

  • The Bear has as much right to eat as anything else. Human beings spread like a cancer across the continent, ever encroaching upon the bears territory.

The bears is not in your house, your are in the bears. He was there before you, and deserves to be there after you.

In a perfect world the bear wouldn't need to be fed, but this isn't a perfect world.

You should be forced from your home, and your ability to feed yourself taken from you, before you complain how others watch over bears.

  • @Badtreewater

    Well said.

  • @Badtreewater I'm sure that humankind will be wiped off the face of Earth within several centuries (new disease/epidemic, or nuclear meltdown)--then, the Bears will inherit the Earth, hopefully.

  • @Badtreewater But still, I do not approve of this kind of feeding of Bears--this WILL lead to these bears being shot to death. The person who really cares about Bears will take food and dump it in the forest ,away from humans, so that bears will not have the association between human dwellings and food

  • @Badtreewater .. feeding wild bears is just as bad/wrong as shooting them yourself !!

  • For me, it's not a bad idea that humans are feeding wild animals like bears but I think we are changing the things that they are used to, like they should be the one finding their food. If they get used to it, they will always depend on humans.

  • A woman in Buffalo NY suburb repeatedly gets arrested for feeding the deer, its against the law for a reason as much as i Love deer and all animals I wouldn't feed them ever.

  • @RoxStar93 Looks like he's playing... At least that's how my dog plays. Then again, my little Westie isn't quite a 300 pound black bear.

  • :50 Even bears have male urges XD

  • Anyone notice 0:23?

The bear tried biting his hand when he reached out to pet it.

  • These people have a very limited field of consciousness. The longterm problem with feeding bears is that the bears will associated human to food and bears will become fearless of human. ...and this will eventually create other problems. Hopefully no one will get hurt.

  • "and began stealing to suppliment his diet"

Time to steal some pic-a-nic baskets

  • north americans are hunting bears just for the dollar. It will be thanks to hunting for the dollar that we lose these incredible species. now is the time to stop. we dont have to hunt them at all

  • Silly whiteman.

  • they should make them work for the food they get so they at lest get some exercise..

  • i just love bears, they're such amazing animals. i wish i could go in there and hug one of them

  • Steven Colbert would be terrified.

  • LOL look at that fat beat at 2:25!!!!

  • God Bless this man!

  • @BlackBearsLove .. god bless this man ???

nah he should be fined .. and if he doesnt stop , he should be evicted !!

vince will have both the ignorant tourists and wild bears at risk of danger !!

  • Black bears look like rottweilers

  • These people are wonderful. These Bears won't harm anyone if they are not bothered. Bears are smarter than humans!

  • @BlackBearsLove by teaching wild bears that humans are a good food source you are now breeding bears that will depend on humans for food. they will raid garbage cans etc. and become a huge problem for people living in the area. this almost always ends up with the division of wildlife having to kill the problem bears. this is the reason why in parks they always have massive signs saying not to feed the bears. yea its cool, but this is going to cause some problems for sure

  • @BlackBearsLove

Hmm...well if that human is you, perhaps so.

  • @N00bcrunch3r HAHAHA! ROTFLMAO!! White people!!!!!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHA!

  • @BlackBearsLove

Well let's see, you claim that a beast without the ability to make tools is automatically smarter than the average person...plus you think you can somehow discern a person's skin color through a text box?? Yeah, they probably are smarter than you.

  • i hate pre-video ads

  • This is so stupid. The bears have come to associate and EXPECT food from humans. One day when they don't get the food they want, they will attack. And the stupid humans will blame the bears of course.

Why are people still too stupid to understand that if you mess with the ways of nature, you are asking for trouble!! Look at animals in captivity attacking people, global warming, bulldozing of acres of precious forest. Consequences everywhere.

  • @ViVi80 i agree with everything u said besides the global warming thing haha but i respect your opinion

  • @ViVi80 you know that from experience right? idiot.

  • Vince is the usual animal loving but stupid man ! Animals are not toys !

  • 3:00 cute bear cub: riding on mother's back is fun!!! :)

  • The bears would kill him except they sense he's mentally ill or something and it makes them hesitate.

  • I want a bear damnit!

  • Hell, if people want to gawk at the non-tame bears, let them. It's their own lives their playing with and no one will take pity if the bears attack. There's no use to killing these bears. Their just being bears... What large, predatory animal wouldn't take advantage of free food from non-threatening beings? Less work for them.

  • Go ahead and feed the bears look how many centuries the bears have been protecting this earth from UFOs. Just think of it alien landings friendly bears frightening off alien landings. They scare the hell out of most aliens.

  • @inspectorcritic you got a point

  • @inspectorcritic lol so they master space and time and have the inherent wisdom to travel many billions of light-years but when they finally get here, they are scared off by the local mammals?? lol riiiiight... and what makes you think that's even a good thing, were it true? If it were, then im quite sure 'they' have seen a lot worse ;P

  • girl has a nice ass

  • where is this place

  • Welfare for bears, sad thing is with all the handouts I don't see the bears going back to work getting their own berry's any time soon.

  • 2:26 Holy Sh**! How much food do this people have! That is just too much!!!

  • any day that bear can break out

  • 3:25 that's one fat bear

  • the only reason they aint attacking any other then they are timid creatures is because they are too fat... but they look like really big dogs :) lol

  • @icommentonvideos1

Mmm...must be what a "Werewolf" is.

  • NJ should try this instead of hunting them!!!!!!

  • i feed a chipmunk and some blue jays .. is this okay?

  • @ontariofisher

Well they certainly cannot kill you (with the exception of rabies in chimpmunks and just about every other mammal). Though they may eventually become food pests.

  • Winnie the Pooh got his nose stuck in the honey pot!

  • Loosely based on a real bear, which is my point. I never said Winnie the Pooh wasn't real. Let's be honest, Winifred never hung out with Christopher Robin, Eeyre and the gang looking for honey every day! These are wild animals. For those who don't think they're a problem, I invite them to move these bears into their own neighborhoods with their families. Make a den for them in your back yard. Hell, why not let the kids hand feed them, involve the whole family!!

  • We had a similar situation in Canada - a marijuana grow-op operator was found to have over 20 tame black bears on his property that he was feeding. The Ministry was going to shoot them all. I then started HELP SAVE THE BC BLACK BEARS facebook site and, with almost 5,000 members - the Ministry decided to let them go to den! DO NOT FEED THE BEARS! Pls. visit our site and show your support to keep these bears from being slaughtered. Doreen

  • @bitingontinfoil Those bears should have been killed. They have been unnaturally conditioned to not fear humans. It's tree huggers like you that cause the real problems with your naivety. There are not 20 man-killing machines loose in BC because of you. Here's hoping you do some camping on that grow-op land sometime soon!

  • @MissCase530 Wow - you should really educate yourself a little more "MissCase". When the RCMP attending, the bears played FETCH with them. they are extremely docile. I agree, bears SHOULD NOT BE DOMESTICATED or fed by humans. However, in our individual case, these bears were also foraging on their own - not "living" on this property so chances are they can be successfully rehabbed. If a bear becomes aggressive, measures should be taken. but they deserve a chance, at least.

  • Bears are like humans. They all have different personalities. I love bears. You have to show them the respect they have erned, but not be afraid of who they are..

  • This may sound mean but I think all those bears should be shot because they are a threat to humans. They have lost all their wild instincts and fear of man

  • @cscate why dont u kill yourself ? you are threat to animals

  • @mrolymp you don't feed wild animals and think its ok. those bears associate people with food and are a threat

  • This kind of stupidity is astounding!! This is not Winnie the Pooh - these are wild, dangerous animals! This is an example of why so many bears are destroyed in North America, just to make yourself feel like a hero! So sad!

  • @kris13119

you ever heard of Winifred the Bear? He's the inspiration for Winnie the Pooh except she was a real bear. :D Look up the story.

  • aww i love bears..........they're like my favorite animals

  • aww they're so cute and cuddly, i wish i could give them all a big hug

  • It`s so wrong.

  • 2:28 priceless...

  • 2:08 = FUCKING OWNAGE

  • holy shit what a fat ass

  • Hahahahaha!!! Poooof da goes the big bad bear monster stories out da window!!! LOL

  • He's fucked now, if he stops feeding them, they will simply eat him.

  • @MrQuijibo no black bears are timid to people

  • I know that black bears can outrun humans. But when they are as fat as shown in 2:05, will that slow them down?

  • They're Americanizing bears!!

  • crime? you call it a crime to feed your kids? i dont think so!

it is not a crime to be friends with a really big friend ? no what tha fuck i really think it is abnormal to call this a crime:S

  • my favourite one is @1:57:D haha. hes awesomee:D

  • Comment removed

  • I wish these people realized how destructive feeding any wild animal is.

And yes, a bear can get to fat.

  • These people have good hearts, but are unfortunately stupid.

  • @rocospi So true. We can't let wild animals become used to us feeding them.

  • @rocospi Could not of said it better mate

  • they sure are FAT

  • lol they are just like my old dog xD

  • Hit 0:00 to skip advertisment

  • @Scrap5000 I understood it until the "Di" part. Also, I don't fantasize about 2 inch penis.

  • @TheUFCbruh Brooklyn? Cool, we should kick it, you're a pretty funny guy, we'd have a good time.

  • @TheUFCbruh LOL you're a jack

  • Only a matter of time till someone gets killed or at least hurt very, very badly

  • Why shoot them? Is it so hard o tranq them and send them to a location 100 of miles away from a city? Fucking people.

  • Would like too see them feed these black bears and then a Huge grizzly come out.

  • Shit, thats a big black bear.

  • I got some black bears I'm feeding. This releaves some stress on the poor animals after man or thing has encroach onto their habitate, desecrating their food supply. They half to live nearly inbetween houses and dodge busy goddamn streets. while your dog can terrorize them after being shelter feed and groomed 24 hours a day.

  • @inspectorcritic You may be killing them with kindness by doing so. Here in Canada, the first response is usually a bullet. I agree that we encroach onto their habitat - however, we need to let them live as wild animals, with a *natural* fear of humans.

  • Great!

  • this is not a good idea lol.. but i love bears :)

  • Humanity are still the most advanced idiots ever created

  • what a noble creature!

  • He needs to set up some exercise equipment for them. Not many six-pack abs to be seen there. So what if those people stop feeding these bears? Will they eat pops and all his helpers? Get THAT on video!

  • This old man needs to be smacked upside the head...period. BEARS ARE WILD FUCKING ANIMALS YOU DUMB SON OF A BITCH!!! Does it dawn on you AT ALL that when you are gone one day, these bears are going to look to other people for food? If one of these bears roams through someone's garage (or whatever) and kills someone who is just at the wrong place at the wrong time, the bear will be put down and YOU will be responsible for both deaths. But I gather you don't think quite that far ahead do you?

  • @bzurvalec WOW, your tough cussing out an old man on youtube. Is it your town? if not then mind your own business. Try it sometime. It's really easier than your think.

  • @Beansy149 Your personal attack is all fine and dandy, but can you actually REFUTE anything I wrote below? What is your counter to my position that feeding Black Bears is EXTREMELY stupid behavior that can ultimately lead to the deaths of both humans and Black Bears alike? And FYI, this isn't about being "tough," it's about saying something that needs to be said. Yes, my previous comment was extreme in nature, but that was only because the conduct in this video called for it.

  • @bzurvalec pipe down it's only youtube

  • @Beansy149 I didn't spend all those years educating myself to just say "oh well" when I see something that is wrong. The fact that this is YouTube doesn't change that.

  • @bzurvalec Its pointless trying to get into an argument with Beansy149, he just bit off more than he can chew. You aren't the only one he's throwing comments at - the second he see's a bit of logic, he runs off with his tail between his legs. All talk and no thought. Forget him.

  • @aribasultan It's a sad reality that that's the world we live in my friend. WAY TOO MANY people just aren't interested in rational discussion. It's too bad.

  • @bzurvalec i know, right? but what you going to do? thats the problem with not encouraging social darwinism lol

  • omg...all those bear are so cute.....they're begging food from human bcoz they dont have much food resources like b4....and mostly we are the main reason why their foods are not enough now...i guess those guys give food so they can lessen humans fault of bear dying from starvation....

  • @laarnipanda know what would lessen starvation? hunting, same amount of food for smaller population. now get out there and start your bear massacre.

  • @MCoftheD just keep hoping that when u die...and you were reincarnated.or given a chance to live in this world..just pray your not a bear.....or other animals that you do not care...

  • @laarnipanda Ill give you two scenarios if i were to be. Either I'd remember my previous life or i wouldn't, if i did I wouldn't be so stupid. If I didn't then I would be oblivious and "ignorance is bliss" until I die which by your philosophy I'd reincarnate anyway so... not seeing a down side for me. While my initial response is exaggerated it still holds true, so start that massacre. Who said I didn't like bears?

  • They're probably going to have to end up gassing all these dependent bears once that place shuts down.

  • lol if i was a hungry black bear i would eat the guy then hide under a tree till every one forgot about it

  • these are not thin bears, its hard to imagine how this is thought of as a good thing.

  • @mytube4242 they said that being fat doesn't affect their health, probably because they're naturally supposed to get fat and hibernate to survive. (Not that I'm saying it is a good thing to feed them)

  • While I love animals, this is ridiculous. We've got starving kids in Africa and these people are worried about making bears obese? What a waste of money and resources.

  • @aribasultan I agree

  • @aribasultan what have you done for Africa? That is this biggest problem we humans have. Everybody is always in someone else's business. We have the right to be passionate about whatever we want, that includes you.I am not that into bears and would probobly choose to advocate for starving kids first but that's me and I don't knock the animal people, because it's their right to do what they want.If you have such a problem with this, then why don't you do something for the kids and stop bitch ing

  • @Beansy149 That's a pretty silly response my friend, considering you have no idea who I am or what I do. But If you must know, I work for the Red Crescent. For free. I done a year in Nigeria working with children who were orphaned by HIV/Aids. And I paid for my own expenses to do so. All my pets are from shelters, always have been. And I sponsor the WWF. So tell me. What have YOU done for either? Don't act like a high & mighty douchebag, ur better than that.

  • @aribasultan For the win!

  • @Beansy149 P.S - Check the definition. What I was doing was NOT bitching. Merely stating my opinion, which last I checked, is allowed.

  • @aribasultan then liquidate all your personal belongings into cash and sent it to Chad. Im sure theyll send you a painted rock or something.

  • whoa. that is one fat bear o_o

  • that would be kool if they just wanted to come visit i guess. But i wouldnt feed them, what if you dont have any food one day and then the thing gets pissed and eats you?! no thanks

  • I think this is stupid cause those bears are suppose to live on there own and they might start depending on us then we might have no homes for them like they tamed cats and dogs know there homeless so why dont all you people leave those animals alone to where they belong and stop trying to change things.

  • This is wrong for so many reasons.

  • @aj5650 Kinda too late now.. WHich is going to end up getting killed when the owner dies. (When it closes and they go to the city)

  • aww they are so cutee

  • looks like a stamp line in Cleveland, only a few small differences , its a little hairy-er, smells better, and not quite as obnoxious

  • Holy fat bears batman!

  • This makes it extremely dangerous for hikers in the wilderness. NEVER feed wild bears

  • I hunt White Tail deer too.

I only do it for the meat and the fact that if I don't, the deer population might increase drastically since there are no other deer predators that live in my woods.

  • i didn't realise bears could be so dosile?

  • i didn't realise bears could be so dosile?

  • @ASecondAhead forget i said that, it was stupid

  • @ASecondAhead They can be, actually. Although, they don't make good "pets". Their hormonal levels, including their testosterone, are less expressive than in big cats, making certain bear species, such as American black bears, a little more “people-friendly“.

  • Fucking up the ecosystem one animal at a time

  • This is socialism for bears. Waiting for welfare food instead of hunt on their own ~_~

  • @ppshchik Well, look at it in this perspective. Humans are lazy, selfish animals, and just need to go to a super market to buy their food. Animals, in the wild, have to forage for food, and when animals get the idea that humans give out easier food sources, they want to tune in, as well. Raccoons look for food sources in our trash, because they want a much better tasting food source, as well as an easier technique of obtaining their food.

  • @ppshchik If we have an easy life, why can’t the animals, which are caused to cope with our rapidly expanding populace, because we expanded into THEIR natural habitat.

  • @TheREALSoffish The video is explaining the truth. The reason bears are eating scraps from trash cans is because dumb people feed them like pets. We are supposed to leave them alone.

Animals hunt, kill, and invade other animal's territories, with or without human intervention. Your utopia of humans and animals living happily ever with hands holding each other proves that you're no more than 15 years old.

    You comments are beyond stupidity.

  • @ppshchik I'm not saying they should live in "harmony". What I'm saying is that animals that look for food should be allowed to eat out of trash cans, and if a bear kills somebody, who gives a shit? There's only over 6,830,000,000 million more humans to go, with a B/D ratio of +3 humans every second...... If a bear killed a family member, I wouldn't look for revenge. I would only fight the bear if he was in the process of mauling my family member or pet.

  • @ppshchik The only reason bears come into our territory is because they want a more substantial food source, and since we get easy lives of shopping instead of roaming around like nomads for food, they understand that we'll have scraps to give up. That’s' the same reason raccoons live in neighborhoods. We took their territory away, in the first place, and therefore, WE owe them. If a toddler gets killed, so be it……….

  • @ppshchik except in socialist countries they aren't fat like Americans.

  • @ppshchik No, they only come when there is a poor berry crop that time of year, not everyday.

  • @ppshchik yeah its hard to hunt for nothing.. man has killed so much that other animals are struggling to hunt

  • Comment removed

  • Vince, the idiot, should be force fed to 450 lbs and then put in the Times Square to be watched by tourists...

  • @kgboy72 I wouldn't feed the bears id be looking for my shotgun. I heard bear meat is mighty good this time a year.

  • @MisterClean121 ur a total freak

  • wow! ! ! look @ his belly @ 2:25- thats utterly ridiculous! a fat farm .. they'll eat and eat as long as food is around. theres no reason a bear's tummy should be that

    fat !

  • a bear sanctuary .. such magnificent creatures

  • dosey foreigners!!!

  • If you listened to the video and did a little homework, maybe took to the woods for a while, you would learn that these bears are wild animals and will snap on you in a second and eat you quicker than you can finish that sentance...morons...bears dont know the difference between burgers and berries, stop putting your human 'issues' on bears, they are wild animals, they get hunted, they get mounted, they get eaten...get over it.

  • you obviously don't know a fucking hoot about bears dip shit, city lover. don't say what you don't know, until you have done what this man is doing, then you have no clue about what they are like. shut the fuck up

  • The next time a 15 year old mexican tells me to shut the fuck up, a bear gets shot.

I will not do what this man is doing, would you feed this crap to your kids? Why the hell would you feed it to bears? I hunt bears, not feed them dounuts dork...

  • hey HabibKh, I hunt bears too...Am I an asshole too? Because I carry a gun and hunt wild animals means I have no capacity to observe and enjoy nature? Do you know about not taking an animal to let it get bigger so you can let it grow? Do you know how much hunters help by reporting game violations, polloution, sick animals? You know nothing about this!

You stand on the edge of the forest banging your pots and pans, and we will go in the woods and make sure the woods are healthy for all of us...

  • Thank you vinmega!!!!......

Your comment shows wisdom and a deep understanding of nature conservancy.

LOL....I really can envision some poor misguided soul banging pots and pans....

I hunt whitetailed deer and moose and I have been known as a bear hunter....But black bears intrigued me after a while ;and so now, I leave the bear hunt to my son.I really enjoy watching bears.

I do not feel like I have anything to prove by taking another bar.

  • Jbodine67, yes I hunt whitetails in NJ and we love it here! We also have a black bear issue as they are very curious and mess up the hunts by just being in the way. The break into at least 5 houses a week in one area of our state. Hard to believe in NJ! LOL. I am thinking that with the big increase in calls to the DEP about bear break ins, pet killings, and garbage broken into, etc. that we will have a bear hunt here in NJ.

  • The last time we had a bear hunt in 2005, reports of bears breaking in and pet killings, etc declined. The bears are smart. They need reminding that even though, yes we have completely encroached their habitats, we are still humans and the food chain order needs to be defined for the bears. We hunters take action on keeping the outdoors clean and healthy for all. We are out there all year, even in bitter cold, while you read a protest site on the web. We monitor the animals all the time...

  • We have a large pop. of b. bears here in New Brunswick,Canada. Many live to old age due to the remote location; and also because human encroachment is minimal.

Here bears remain wild.Their fear of humans remains intact. However, they are unpredictable and can be deadly powerful.A sow with cubs or an adolescent are most often the ones to watch out for.

Thanks for your comment vinmega!... happy hunting in N.J...

    I guide here.part time.Come on a Maritime Bear Hunt you'll never forget!!!
