  • QUALity!! Very impressive and useful. Looks like you have a healthy cat and thanks for not doing the obnoxious cat baby talk that infects most cat vids.

  • Is this an Abyssinian???? I have one, too. She also jumps!!! Check out: Kitty Jumping! Forever Young! to see her.

  • Yes, dogs and horses (some breeds more than others) have the great misfortune of being able to learn lots of useful things (from the human perspective) through aversives-based training. Most other species really don't - the side-effects of aggression, fear and "shutting down" become too obvious and severe - which is why they've traditionally been considered "difficult to train". I wish all dog trainers were required to also train at least one non-traditional species (chicken, cat, rat...).

  • great video, this is how all animals should be trained!! (read into that: dogs and horses especially, who commonly experience such violent training)

  • That is totally inspiring! I really want to try something now!! Maybe you could do one about clicker training?

  • whats the clicking noise

    please tell me

  • this is the MOST awsome thing I ever seen. :D Can u show us all how to train a cat to use the toilet??

  • Cool! Thanks for letting me know. :o)

  • Thanks, I tryed to teach my cat to go in and out of my legs,he did like three times and never does it anymore.

  • Goody, it worked ^^

  • I'll definitely try this!

  • Wow I'm going to get off this computer and train that to my cat right now... seriously !!!:)

    Loved it

  • That's just wonderful. I'm going to try it! Thank you!

  • Thanks, everyone! I'm thrilled that so many people like it. Sorry about the poor lighting/contrast, this was my very first try and I had no idea how to edit. Maybe I'll make a "2.0" later. :o)

  • Brilliant! I'm going to try to teach it to my cat too. Beautiful cat!

  • I'd like to challenge all the things you have shown on animation which is a very good study

    for me to learn training.

  • An Abyssinian. This cat looks very much like the old Abyssinian belonging to my family. I taught him to give his paw. I also taught our other cat to do the same and tried to teach that cat to follow like a dog. Unfortunately he died.

  • Great video!! I love how you worked slowly to keep your cat successful. Nice job!

  • Nice Job! Beautiful cat.

  • Very cool! Good job!!
