  • Thank you so much man .. i swear that was so nice

  • It's not rocket science but I wasn't able to figure out the assembly process. It builds up itself. Great idea.

  • good to know, I always wondered how r they built standing like that and every now and then when a building gets taller how do they cope in to be higher, btw; r all cranes built with the same method? as this one seems a bit different from the ones i c in my country, this 1 seems a bit advanced....

  • most annoying music ever

  • رائع جدا

    شكرا

    thank you

  • Oh wow, really? Now that question's answered.

  • i like the perfection in this video....

  • imgur brought me here.

  • I have always wondered how they were built... not i know... thanks!

  • I'm gonna buy ten!

  • Thanks very useful instead of hearing it in class im in clas btw

  • Hey! What's the name of that song??

  • thx

  • WHY THIS FUCKING MUSIC AGAIN?!!?!?!?!1/!/

  • Great video, but I have a question: If a crane is built using another crane, who built the first crane?

  • @MatheusMK3 as you can see in the video it was a regular sized crane attached to a truck. this can be built like any other vehicle. I'm going to assume that sarcasm though. but y'know... just in case it wasn't...

  • @phox1515 Yes, it was somewhat some sarcasm since there was a crane building another crane...

Btw, your comment was also sent via Twitter... lol

  • Amazing!

  • hope this is not a San Marco training video. Because there will be a lot of crane rigger will die from climbing the tower. once you climb the tower, the balancing counter weight CAN NOT be unloaded before the tower is insert into the jacking cage. The new tower should be hanged on the mono rail before climbing and balancing. well other then that, this video is very well done.

  • now i know, thanks, this video is perfect.

  • very well done bro! ur amazing..

  • Very good video. It answers my curious how to to make the tower crane so high

  • Very good vid 10/10 thanks

  • Finally. I now know how the cranes go up. Thank you for the information

  • well done

  • 13 people still use bamboo scaffolding

  • wow !! this video is incredible n well designed !!

  • THIS VID IS REALLY GOOD....

  • This video is excellent. Answered some of my questions. Is it canter-lever?

  • To think it is all held through screws, nuts, bolts, and washers... O_O

  • 1:20 is so cool

  • COOL

  • 4:09 - awesome, I never seen it but I seen truck cranes assembled a tower crane in my real life because I ride the bus for went to home from school in afternoon back in 2002.

  • impressive really :) thanks for the vid !

  • Nice one mate

  • L-profiles? I could NEVER trust a crane standing on L-profiles. That's why I love my WOLFF cranes

But interesting to see how other manufacturers are working.

  • Comment removed

  • isto ehh um grove...não eh??

  • Thanks for the video, always wondered how these things go up.

  • Thanks for the video. That's one of the wonders of technologies.

  • This is a great video but don't some cranes go up through the elevator shafts?

  • @StevieRich Yes, cranes can be built up in elevator shafts

  • Nice. its the opposite if your dismanteling the crane?

  • Thumbs up if your here because of your curiosity about how to build tower cranes that build high-rise tower buildings.

  • the song is groove cutter-my shooter

  • great video explanation, as many i never knew how these cranes are built. All the time i had this question in my mind, finally got the answer. Thanks for sharing... great work!

  • What is the name from the music

  • wie heißt das lied

  • Always wanted to know how exactly that works. Thanks!

  • a magic tech.

  • this was a badass video now I know very cool!!

  • what is the name of the song

  • Nice movie gratz to the creators of the movie and also to the inventors of this system.

  • ok now we all know how tall buildings are built, but what about skyscrapers like 600 or 800m tall? i know they build additional constructions on which they put the cranes, but there is no video how they do it and more interesting - how they dismantle the cranes at the top.

  • if you could show a person climbing up to the cabin at the end ,that would be great!

  • Kool, Now I know PS If ya don't like the music, I'm sorry you are too dumb to know where the off switch for your speakers is.

  • now how do they take it down

  • know I know how a crane is built :)

  • That would take a crane to get it out.

  • I was realy curious and wanted to see a video about this....but fuck this music is so gay!!!

  • at 5:00 when the crane began building it's self i came with the force of a thousand suns

  • high-tech-crane interesting..

  • Yes, bring us more condos on the beach!

  • Well that has answered my question that has been pondering in my mind for a while. Thanks

  • great video before seeing that video i had my own thoughts and very confused how crane lifts up... thnx

  • how long does this take?

  • anyone who works with crane drivers or riggers are fucking poofters. bunch of fucking cocksuckers all of u

  • @buttsecksist

Got knocked back for a job?

  • @MegaOld44 no got fired

  • I know it's been said before but great video, definitely answers my questions!! Not sure about the music though!!! Lol

  • Mystery Solved. I too have been staring at a highrise project consisting of 7 buildings go up and have been wondering the exact same thing. Thanks for posting this.

  • Strangest crane building music ever.

  • it builts itself! :)

its quite suprising that the base is actually pretty small in diameter

  • wonderful video presentation .i used to wonder how the cranes height grows day by day along with the size of structure

  • great..you've just answered one of my oldest questions in my life.. :p

does the climber have a built in engine ?

  • This is a great video but it left me with two questions:

    1. How does the 'lifter' connect to the main tower (what causes it to stop sliding ~2:20)?

    2. You explain that the crane uses the concrete block at 4:05 etc to balance itself. Why doesn't the crane topple when it puts the block down/ (wouldn't the moment force suddenly go to 0)?

    Thanks!

  • nice song what is the name of the song

  • מדהים!!!!!!

  • great video thank you

  • So that's how they do it.

  • human ingenuity

  • i've always wondered...great vid!

  • Thanks, this answers one of my childhood questions, but arouses another. How do the climber push the top part of the crane up to allow the next section to be slid in? Does it have a built in engine?

  • Wow nice Information

  • acecrane.com Wow nice Information

  • gracias por el aporte !!!

  • very nice

  • holy sh*t it assembles itself! how brilliant is this! does every (higher) tower crane work like that?

  • That is complicated!

  • Well done, I've done a lot of work around cranes over the years, so I knew how this was done. But, was still very cool. Too bad they don't make a video game about this kind of stuff. Thanks for the video.

  • Awesome

  • ok that is awesome...

  • tower cranes !!

  • always wondered how they extend it further thx nice demo

  • does the problem happen when the crane is too high and all the weight bends and crushes the metal right at the bottom?

  • AWESOME!!! Ive been thinking about this for awhile

  • im 33 years and always been wondering how the hell do they put up a crane. one day it's there and the next day its been dismantle and gone. Great tutorial!

  • AWESOME!!!!!!!

  • This question has been making me loose sleep for years! Finally I understand, thank you!

  • This is awesome. I always wonder how the nTowers crane is working!!

  • Perfect

  • Wat a g8t video really helped to explain it to Jordan and the lads of CD2 SRC. really think DJ Casey should do a remix

  • Wat a g8t video really helped explain to Jordy and the lads in CD2 how this is done. And wat a tune DJ Casey really should do a remix !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I've wondered how the hell they're errected ever since I was a kid, and thought my dad tried to explain it, I still couldn't wrap my head around it... this was great, thanks for it

  • fucking brilliant 3d explanation. wow! well done.

  • very nice tutorial

  • It really is a marvel how construction works.

  • Great VIdeo

  • aaaa so thats how they do that, I thought it just teleported there S:

  • Great vid, thanks!

  • That was really good to watch! I've always wondered how tower cranes are erected and now I know! Thank you x

  • greattt

  • Really fantastic, both the animation and the crane design.

  • Amazing!! Thanks for the VID!!

  • whats the name of the song ?

  • @ozikool My Shooter....

  • Too late

  • omg wow

  • Great video. But just one thing. When climbing one does not pick up a concrete weight, climb, put the weight down and pick up the tower to be installed. The crane instead first picks up the tower, sets it on the shelf in front of the future opening. Then they pick up a second section to balance the whole operation. Once balanced. The climb begins creating an opening in front of the tower on the shelf which is then slipped into position and connected.

  • oh thats how its done!

    great video man, thanks

  • i'm very glad my animation has been appreciated so much :)

  • awesome!!!

  • Brilliant piece of work!! Same here, this answers a question that's been haunting me and my dad for a long time. Thanks for sharing this!

  • This video just answered all the questions I've been having for a long time.

  • Tanx alot dude this video helped me figure out EVERYTHING!!! COOL VIDEO BY THE WAY!!!

  • awesome, i had no idea how those towering cranes ever got that high, now i really want to be a contractor/architect so i can actually see these things in action

  • Very informative video. Thank you.

  • I've been staring at a construction site for a month trying to figure this out. Brilliant video!

  • If a crane doesn't have a climber it can only go as high as the truck can lift.

  • @Paradiddler45 Me too. Thanks to glwiebe61 :D

  • Thanks so much for the thing I wanna know for a long time.

  • So Cool, Thanks

  • AWESOME!

  • This video clearly answers my childhood question.

  • @tunyawat what is that question:)

  • Know i know how to assemble a huge tall crane without the support of truck crane

  • hi

please tell me how much a tower crane costs???? (new & Used)..... and sometimes i've seen that the tower crane is fitted inside the building i.e in the portion of LIFT.....so how they fit the crane there???

  • "and sometimes i've seen that the tower crane is fitted inside the building i.e in the portion of LIFT.....so how they fit the crane there???

They use the help of the first crane they assembled to build the building then with that they build another one.

  • crane rental varies on conditions and duration. 35-50 K a month normally, The Casino Job I work on has 6 like this one. building is built around 3, outer crane dismantles inner working towards perimeter and an assist crane booms over and pulls load (sections) out from top.

  • wow. very well done. Always how these things assemble themselves. I had an idea but couldn't completely visualize it.

  • thanks you for this video, i now understand how it works. great!

  • WOW! amazing video

  • hi! thanks for putting this up. What is the music? I'd really want to know.

  • @numbakrunch

Did you use Shazam? With the world it is today, you don't have to use your brain's RAM cache for retention of trivial knowledge.

Regardless, the song is amazing, as is the design and CAD work.

    ~Spabba

  • very very cool (though scary) !!

  • How high does a crane have to be before it builds itself - I ask because I always look out for the climber part and never see it!

  • well done

  • The song is an excerpt of 'My Shooter' by Groove Cutter

  • Incredible! I love videos like this, thank you.

  • what purpose does carrying the block in 04:05 achieve?

  • It balances the crane as it moves up

  • Was just wondering the same thing...

  • I never thought I'd be literally amazed at a video of a crane being put together. WOW!

  • Amazing video!

  • I've always wondered how one is put up, I always look up at these cranes at a skyscraper's construction site and sometimes can be awe inspiring at times.

  • I've always wondered how these cranes get built up. If you play the video backwards, I would expect that it is approximately how one is taken down.

  • anyone know the song?

  • Excellent video. Thanks for posting.

  • What's the song to this?

  • That was awesome

  • I'm sorry to be that guy - but what is this song called?

  • It's some mix of Groove Cutter - My Shooter.

  • ...forgot to ask... what software packages did you use for the production? did you create the models?

  • as a tower crane tech and a 3d modeler, I can say: Very Nicely Done!!! some greate detailing on the models, and the sequence captured it all. Showing the building going up is a great touch. I usually see a tower section used as the balance weight during climbing though...

  • show....post me please. (brasil)

  • Whoa....the crane is building itself!!!!!

  • now thats a vid ive seen cranes be built up and taken down and thats good how to demonstrate how one is built thanks for the post my mate whos a primary teacher uses this to show how a crane works thanks for this

  • how you get ths program?

  • It's not a "program" it's a 3D animation. It could be created with a wide variety of 3D animation software.

  • Thank you for posting, it is really informimg

  • Great video!
