So its been stuck in that pit for god knows how long, you throw a couple bombs into it which causes it to roll onto the lava ....which it has been stuck with for god knows how long....and dies.....
Yeah, that's pretty much how it goes in Zelda games. The bosses almost always use a gimmick with the item found in that particular dungeon.
I supposed what to do with said item, and how obvious it may or may not be, totally depends on the player. Personally, my first time through the game was when I was like...6? Maybe 7 or 8 years old. Things like that aren't very obvious to your typical 6-8 year old, so I think I had a bit of trouble at first myself.
i definately agree with the inside jabu-jabu's belly being really scary. especially back when this game came out and i was only seven or so, that dungeon put me off the game for a few years but i have beaten it since.
I remember the first time I fought this boss. I'm usually very cunning and can figure out puzzles easily, but I had no idea how to defeat it. Took me a while to figure it out as I was literally trying to do everything and anything to it.
Then I thought, why not feed him a bomb. I felt so stupid afterwards. =P
actualy this is a very grosum death, he falls in lava ALIVE! wow i was heartless as a 6 year old

we all know that OOT is the best plot,
MM has the best gameplay (difficulty is good)
WW has the best music.....
TP has the best graphics...
and skyward sword has a lot of romance!

Zelda boss battles truly are unique.
This battle is awesome I remember playing this ages ago =D.
I love how you throw the bomb in King Dodongo's mouth and he gets stunned then PWNAGE WACKING TIME.
