Mission Beach: home of Dale Porter, he who made a little splash on various news agencies (including the Tom Leykis show) in his quest to find a 'pretend girlfriend.' No disrespect to Mr. Porter but with the advent of PUA techniques he and men like him might want to consider PUA methodology and / or going to a PUA boot camp. Wish I could afford a PUA boot camp because historically my day game has always been weak. Real weak. (pua=pickupartist)
You don't as you claim speak for other 'people' you speak for yourself I found that post / information regarding p.u.a.s, pretend girlfriends and Dale Porter entertaining.
@InglouriosBasterd Again, what the fuck kind of gibberish are you rambling about? This is a video of a beach, and you wrote a paragraph to no one about PUAs and some random dude with no context whatsoever. It truly sounds like you lead a boring, shitty life when you spend all your time rambling on youtube comments. How sad for you...
San Diego went downhill culturally in the late 2000's when District 2 City Councilman Kevin Faulconer banned the P.B. Block Party and drinking alcohol at the beach. Tolstoy agrees with me.
I forgot his name (if you know his moniker tell us!) whatever happened to the roller skating guy (no, not 'SloMo', he's stillaround) that used to paint his body and face and skate up and down the boardwalk in a thong? I wonder if he passed away or moved to another locale. I once saw him in The Reader in an advertisement for a certain brand beer. Like SloMo that guy was an institution in his own right, a regular PB / MB boardwalk character.
haha I just came back from there it's deffinetly a fun place but it's pretty dead at that specific location. Go north that's were it's at xD but it seems like it's getting too overcrowded by tourists :/
ROCK ON and SHOUT OUT for bringing San Diego to the world!!!! Have room for one more San Diego song??????

i live in san diego.. this is south mission beach. this looks like its in the winter time. its dead there.. all the action is about a mile north at mission beach. thats tourist beach and family beach.. if your looking for a party or some hot chicks tanning brazilian bikinis, go up to pacific beach which is about 3 miles north from the point where this video is shot at.
i live right between pcaific beach and mission beach....this is the south mission..1/2 mile up is a lil more exciting, and about 1 mile up is even more exciting. All the bars and clubs are further up.
I used to live about 9 or 10 houses from the wooden rollercoaster. Now I live in naples, florida, and there are more illegal mexicans here than san diego.I miss the hell out of mission beach.FLORIDA SUCKS!
h my home san deezy. i love it here. i live in east county. la mesa. but boy as soon as its in the 80s and 90s soon... ill hit up mb and pb. Mission is my fav to go relax and tan. but if i wanna get trashed i go to pb lol
went to san diego on holiday absolutly loved it i would move there tomorrow stayed at the bahia resort absolutly brilliant especially the canoe trip to the la jolla caves i was scared shitless of the tiger sharks in the water but the instructor insured me we would b fine
Boo Hoo! Somebody in your family history was a tourist at one time, whether it was you or a previous family member, thats how people decide to move to different places, you have to visit them!
Was looking for some videos of my old hometown, San Diego (originally from the east county of El Cajon), and saw your Mission Beach vid. Ispent many a summer at that beach. Rode the rollercoaster before it was refurbished. Thanks for sharing. Native born San Diegan here who moved to Idaho in 1991...thanks for the memories!
A lot of people from Germany visit San Diego. Why is that? I mean, of all the places in the world...and we're literally on the other side of the world.
My father's cousin lives in LA so me and a friend of mine did a round trip: Los Angeles, Las Vegas and San Diego. But I'm basically interested in San Diego because of blink-182.
I find a lot of people who come here are from Germany too, for some reason. Supposedly, one of them told me that they were told that San Diego is "America's Finest City" and they wanted to see if that was true... I guess.
Well, the official slogan for the city of San Diego is "America's Finest City", and I tend to agree...even though I'm actually from Chula Vista. San Diego County (and Chargers) FTW though!
Its also full of dirty little Mexicans that will break any law in the book to live here and in California. Illegal immigrants make me sick to my stomach, they have no conscience or soul at all. They should be ashamed, but they're not.
If you ever see a naked rollar blader wearing animal paint you have to catch it on film. He's this weird dude who dresses as a different animal or holiday every week.
I used to live there in college; I was on Brighton one year, and Bayside the next. I have been in most of those places shown on cam at one time or another for various parties, etc.
Now in the cornfields of IL. Still miss the beach and the cool summer weather out that way.
I went to Mission Beach when I was 9 and i'm 16 now almost 17 and i STILL am in love with it. i've told myself i was going to live there when i was 9 and that dream has never faded.. and seeing this video just made me more sure that i have to live there when i'm older.
I moved to San Diego area from MN last month I lived in MN all my life. First time seeing the Ocean It's nice i want to try srfing I live 20 min.. from there
I lived in San Diego for 3 years. As a frequent visitor to the ocean, I remeber seeing this one guy who had roller blades on, always skaing the entire length of the Boardwalk, he played some classical music and would literally 'dance' on his skates. It was interesting. The nice thing would be to sit out by the water and let all of one's worries wash away. How I miss it.
I believe the guy on roller blades is actually slow mo. If u go up and down the boardwalk from Mission beach to pacific beach, u can see caution: slow mo signs in front of some of the houses. He rides everyday in slow motion usually on one skate listening to classical music and waving with his huge grin. Great life out there. No worries
wow. ok pause it at 10sec. lol just the other day i climbed across that big rocky way all the way to the tower to go fishing. took about 30min to get to the tower. no joke. jumping from rock to rock is a great adventure. ocean side whoooooohoo. lol. and those houses you pointed at.. i know that exact place. lol i know where you are. it is beautiful. you filmed that early in the morning or something huh. it was desserttted.
lol. all good points, but understand that it was taken on a point and shoot camera. Not meant to be of professional or even "good" amateur quality. Just a beautiful day on Mission Beach.
yes, thats the mission beach walk from mission beach to pacific beach. usually more people (chicks) and a wierd guy who does slow motion ballet on roller blades. Also, a nice place to watch the sunset without as many bums as OB.

Also some guy who says 'hey how are you?' to every single person he passes, followed by 'have a nice weekend' I followed this guy for half an hour, he must have greeted 1000 people. Other than that, a really nice place, though san diego as a whole is a dirty city.
Spent many a day and nite there ( in addition to Ocean and Coronado beach ) when i was in the service , i loved it , glad to see the concrete boardwalk is still there , it hasn't really changed at all , way cool .
