Oh wow, I just watch the movie. They sent it on tv here in Norway, I cryed for Lorentzo. Soutch brave parents. OMG. I have a son, he is 1 year old, if something should happend to him, I hope I will be as strong as his parents. My son means everything too me. He is the reason that Im living. He is my everything.
ALD is a genetic disorder on the X-chromosome so it can only be passed down from the mother, it builds up long chains of fatty acids which his body does not have the enzyme to break it down and strips the myelin from the nerve cells stopping his abilities to see and move and hear, Lorenzo's father Augusto Odone was credited for creating lorenzos oil whcih is a mix of erucic and oleic acid. You do not loose the ability to breathe as the guy below said it does not effect the lungs.
I relate this song to another. A personal tragedy of my own. My darling is gone now but lives in my heart forever. We watched this concert together. Now when this song plays .... I remember. Hope you all understand. Not much else to say except I miss her so much you know?

I just found out today that Lorenzo passed away; seems I was tardy by a good couple months. That makes me terribly sad but at the very least this young man had more time to enjoy than all the supposed experts indicated! Im quite proud of what these 2 parents did and am very inspired by the courage, tenacity and the love involved. Augusto, if you ever read this; I love ya man!

Love this particular concert. Technically (and speaking for myself of course) this was the *best* concert I've ever seen. Love the stage, the mechanics of it all without a stage-hand in sight! Technically superb; Phil, as always, at his best. The only irritating part of this concert DVD is the frikken ugly Toyota sign (Like, he needs the money from promotions ... yesh?) ~F~
That movie was amazing. It inspires me to become a doctor and help people.
