@quantum8kid Physics tries to explain away fields as a mechanistic reaction to a measurable force. Sheldrake's theory explores how consciousness is the source of these fields and thereby drives the process to create the observable physical reactions.
@quantum8kid Well, the morphogenetic field is the best definition of consciousness I've heard. Sheldrake applied scientific method to his theories and got verifiable results that information was being transmitted between humans and animals using a technique he described as resonance. He discovered the reason most telepathy and ESP experiments fail is because they used complete strangers. When similar tests are done using family members or pets who "resonate," the results are quite different.

Until science revises its bottoms-up theory of material development, they are going to miss the top-down process of creation. At the moment science uses concepts like dark matter and quantum theory to wrestle with the problem, but it still is missing the mark, IMHO.
