The reason why the dolphin attacked is that Robin touched their pectoral fins. Never ever do that; pectoral fins are restricted to closer friends. Actually, he shouldn't have touched them at all, because in dolphins, every touch has a meaning. If you touch a wild dolphin on the first encounter, they are likely to attack, and they can do a lot of damage if they want to.
I don't enjoy robin Williams in his comedic roles. However, I have always enjoyed his more dramatic roles.
But this 'In the Wild' episode is my absolute favourite of his. You can see his true persona come out without all comedic dialogue he normally spews out. You can journey along with Robin and feel his utter joy and delight with his new found friends.
I have wanted to see this over the year. THANK YOU for posting this episode.

Ok...I haven't seen this video in over ten years. He still has his comic moments, but they pale in comparison to his moments with 'Stubby.'
