this piece is not too fast! but, you could get around the keyboard even smoother with different fingering on some of the passages... plus, it's so much easier to play when you don't drop your wrist back below the key level. never mind that, though - i like your tempo; sounds like what Bach had in mind to me!! Of course, he the tempo choice up to the performer, didn't he?
technique is good but the tempo is not consistent from playing too fast.. need more expression and there are pp and ff that needs to grow more... it's ok
you played it waaay too fast. you played it that fast that the really minute details can't be well expressed and heard. i love this prelude and i played it as well years ago... and i know how good it can sound... yours didnt sound bad, but it doesn't reach the level of what bach intended to
great peformance! Every musician would say it: Bach is very hard to learn, but it gives you greater pleasure to play a piece Bach than of nearly any other composer; to me this is the same with listening to Bach: once you hear everything, the piece becomes more satisfying to listen. I´ve watched this video at least 6 times, and it never became boring. thanks for sharing!
Best version of this piece. Nothing more to say. Best best best :o)

The well tempered clavier is a play on words. It has two meanings:
A keyboard that is in tune, and a good tempered keyboard player.

Um, just a pointer,
the term "well tempered clavier" means well tuned clavier (piano), so I think you misinterpreted it for actual temper,
so your name means badly tuned piano!!
huatut123 2 years ago
Klavier* and no it does not mean piano, it means keyboard, Bach had no idea what the hell a piano was.... He was a harpsichordist for a reason.

thethikboy sez: "Much much too fast."
Wonder if Glen Gould would have thought, "too fast"? :)

Actually Glen Gould plays it much slower. Look it up. It's on YouTube

Amazing. Incredible mordents. The few minor mistakes didn't detract anything. I especially love from 0:21 to 0:33.
