When so called Christians start to attack each other, you'll know its the beginning of war coming from the devil. Seriously, listen to Macarthur's sermon and you'll know that he is truly a man of God, dedicated to his calling. We need to respect those whom God has called into service, but if they teach false doctrines then we must be ready to rebuke and correct without partiality.
@Viphark I am not attacking him as a person, I love the man and really appreciate his work. I have most all of his books a,d some of his vids. His words on that subject matter is all that I am aiming at. I do not hate anyone, nor do I engage in fights with other believers. Every believer that I know knows when he has met Christ, John does not. . . That my friend is a problem. Thanks for the comment. Pastor John
How many parents who calls themselves Christians do follow the Lord's command in bringing up their children? I also might add that ones experience to Salvation may not be dramatic as others. Dont judge someone upon their confession or testimony, but rather, look at their fruits and see whats changed!
I see this all pointless. why? Well, did it ever occur to most people that what John Macarthur's parents did as Christians were to raise their child in the way of the Lord? Ephesians 6:4. It isn't a surprise that God have used him in a great and profound way in todays secular world.
John,I would be outraged and hurt if he were in some sort of shameful scandale.
I do not consider, not remembering your conversion date shameful,or a scandle.
I consider his body of work. Now you must admit yourself he is a producer of good fruit. I see the need for calling ministers out at times. In this case I just can not! The man is a faithful,Husband and devoted Father. He is not prefect and I do not worship him. I respect him as a man of God!
Continued-So when I hear of someone trashing him I become a bit upset! I live in an area where the truth is not presented much at all. So, when I find that a good one who
actually,Preaches the word is attacked, well I just get a little angry! I hope you see where i am comming from!
J Macarthur' ministries receive $3,000,000per year from the Believers Foundation which is owned by Lorena Jaeb who was/is a governor of the Council for National Policy, a CFR front org. Since the CFR is the enemy of Christianity, then why is L Jaeb giving millions to Macarthur and why is Macarthur accepting money from this source? (Note: Rick Warren is also a member of the CFR).
I just read this on 3-27-10 . . . Tell him to call me on the office phone and I will have him on a web cast along with Bob Johnson. . . you know I am not fearful of having someone from grace on. . . I would perfer JMJ though!
@MrAngates John,I J ust sent a reply to Fred. As soon as he gets my message
I am sure he will get in touch with you. I am looking forward to an open, and honest
debate! Also the Vain crack was out of line. I hope you understand I was just a bit upset! I have become a more informed Christain as a result of J Mac's Ministry.
I just found is video. We chatted on NotYourTypicalNegro's channel about this. I am waiting to hear back from you. I notice in the interim you have had time to respone to people that agree with you.
Please show me in scripture where one has to know when it happened. If you can not then it is your assumption. Beware of placing a burden or a stumbling block for others. I have not found this requirement in scripture. I am not trying to fight you. Please show me.
John 3:3-11 My friend anyone of us would remember when this took place. And each of us need a mind to comprehend such an event. may last word on this OK. There are many other references; this is the easy one. Do you want me to do a clip on this for you?
You said "My friend anyone of us would remember when this took place." Where did the scripture reference you gave state that a "person would remember when this took place."
Let's illustrate what your saying with a syllogism.
1. The Bible says: John 3:3 - one has to be born again.
2. You say: One has to know when it happened.
3. Therefore, one has to know when it happened to be born again.
Can you show me in a quick syllogism where I am wrong?
coleman is a man who has turned aside to vain janglings; this is the reason for him making this video based on an assumption about a jm. his arrogance and great boastings as seen in his last video tells me hes been on the wrong path for a long time.
Right, you can't! That is the bottom line. it is just so simple; unless something has changed in the past century. The greater question is why would most professing evangelical Christians ignore all of this?
How can a genuine Christian not recall when Jesus called them and they became a new creation in Christ??? Thank you for discerning John Macarthur's false profession and for your honesty and boldness in reproving such hypocrisy. Your powerful teaching should serve as a wake up call to other false professors who believe they are saved. May God bless you, Pastor John.
That is just it. Many people in the grace familly have. But,John C, Will not allow the to respond. I would like to hear the other side of this. If John C,were for the right
thing really. he woud have someone on who could set the record right. But,he will
not do it. His pride and vanity is at the point of no return! I hope tht i am wrong. However you may want to go to the gty website. To get a reaction to this.
some christians have experiences that are more dramatic because of the darkness from which they come. jm had always know what godliness looked like because of his parents. i wonder why you think he would really be concerned about your comments. what makes you think that every persons salvation experience has to be as dramatic as everyone elses, when the bible doesnt say that it does. you havent given any scripture to support these assertions of yours. you remind me of titus 1:6
Dave u must be kidding! Okay u want Scripture. Ephesians2: Verses 1 Thru 9 verse 2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the powers of the air, the spirit who now works in the children of disobedience; WE WERE ALL
DISOBEDIENT. There is no lesser child of
Wrath. A child is child, you make it seem as if John had a grace given because of his parents. That is refuted in verse 9. I never knew that in darkness there is a difference. Just Darkness
i wonder why you cant reconcile titus 1:6 with the ephesian verses. a dramatic testimony isnt necessary for salvation, grace is. the point that im making is that some people are more aware of their sinfullness because of temperment differences. coleman with these assertions is making himself an arbitrator for determing how God pours grace into a persons life by measuring jm testimony with his own.
Coleman is not doing that. Lets make it simple. Ever had apple pie? No, then you cant talk about how it tasted. Ever met Christ. NO! I rest my case. Oh yea, I love JMJ, always have and always will, I just speak out against stupid statements. Even my own.
only a faulty premise could lead you to come to this conclusion because you and jm dont share the same palate or taste buds. answering a question for someone unaware of the question being asked is stupid. assessing whether or not jm knows christ based on your premise is ignorant. the result of this senseless reasoning in your comment is a non sequitur. this rationale of yours maybe the reason your ministry seems to have been reduced to uploading videos on youtube.
It always comes to this. Worship him if you please, talk about me, I've gone through this for "4" decades in the faith. Thanks for commenting. PJ PS It is not my Ministry, it is His. . I don't require it.
"Well I always believed the gospel. I dont ever...I dont ever remember a time when I didnt believe the gospel."
WHAT! Now before all of that do you notice how he denies his rebellion as a child and calls it "curiosity?" He then says after all that:
"I think Im one of those kids...I was one of those kids that never rebelled and always believed. And so when God did His saving work in my heart, it was not discernable to me."
This is surely one of the signs of the dialectic. Double talk is what they call it. If the speaker leaves his writ; he is out of the ball park. I takes place all of the time. What is schocking is that John feels nothing. The Horror Of Arrogance!
I don't remember the exact day of which God came into my life, I know the year, where I was and HOW it happened, but I don't remember the day. LOL I'm going to listen to it right now, but I agree with you that there should be a time in your life where we KNOW God did something and changed something in my life... I walk in it to this day... AMEN!
Seems pretty simple. I don't know why anybody would have something against what you just said PJ. Oh wait...not everybody is saved. For some reason I keep forgetting that.
As far as I'm concerned...I know the Holy Spirit will lead us unto truth. And when truth is spoken...the Holy Spirit will let you know it as truth.
Born again children of God are truth addicts. Once you taste the truth, nothing else is good enough for you.
Well somebody had to do it. I pray that the Lord will have His way in all of this. It is just sad what some people think about Christianity. Stay Strong!

Fred Butler can respond to the following now::
Kurt Gebhards was asked by the GCC leaders (John Macarthur) to enter their ministries as "an agent of change." Can a change agent ever be a Christian?
Why does John Macarthur want change agents (Satan's agents) to enter his ministries?
How did John Macarthur know that Gebhards was a change agent?
Where did Gebhards receive his change agent training? The Masters Seminary?
How many other leaders at GCC are change agents?

on your program to set the record right, but you refused him! So have him on

a diffrent thing to have some there that
could defend what you are saying. So if
you are to vain. have Fred on. Or,any member of the grace familly on. To challange you on this...
