Hi. I noticed that you had silver scope on your 10/22 Ruger - what type of set-up did you use - i.e. scope rings etc. & how did you attach this - did you use red glue or blue glue to make the screws stick & hold permanantly or semi-permanantly? Thank You. Sincerely, JAMES.

10/22 model years differ slightly, and mine is from the mid 2000s. I didn't do anything with my trigger, although I did get an extended magazine release from Midway USA. I LOVE It. Go to the Midway USA site and search for "Power Custom Titanium 10/22 extended magazine release"
YouTube did that because I have a song playing in the video that I don't own the rights to. It is stupid. If I didn't have music in the video, Youtube would let it play on mobile devices. I tried to play it on my iphone and it wouldn't work and that is what I discovered. Stupid huh
@faliaphotography What's double stupid is that they could put a link to iTunes for this song on the ipad/ipod so you can one click buy a song you like, or at the very least research an artist if have never heard of them before.
If you wanna practice with the least amount of recoil in that light LCR you should find cowboy loads. Very light kick almost like a 22lr. Great for practice.

the recoil depends on the ammo. It has aLOT of recoil with +P ammo. I was personally shooting wadcutters in the vid, which have the LEAST possible recoil. Regular ammo actually kicks quite a bit in it.

I plan to raise my daughter (she is 3 so i have a few years) around firearms i would like her to have a desire for firearms like i do, i dont want to push it on her and her hate it or not want to be involved just wondering if you have any advise.
I just became curious on my own I guess.. I wanted to learn about guns and see if was fun to shoot as a hobby... I quickly learned, yes, shooting is fun! I also really wanted to learn how to defend myself, exercise my rights, and also have a gun with me for backpacking in the wilderness.

My Ruger 10/22 was the best purchase I've ever made, and my Ruger MKII handgun is the 2nd best purchase! Next up on my list (for concealed carry more than likely) the Ruger LCR!
Good shooting, now add some one handed shooting with movement into your handgun shooting training so you can train for what is going to happen in the rare event you are ever in a self defense situation.
one recommendation when you are shooting the LCR. from the hips up lean forward and into you your pistol. it helps with recoil, and is a more aggressive stance.

I love Ruger's as well, first gun was my 10/22 then got my Mini 14 tactical and now Im getting a P95 15+1. Rugers are just damn good guns.
