About reaching keys when the range is over an octave, etc: It's a combination of regular stretching, practice, and natural hand length. For example, I can reach two white keys beyond an octave, but I'm not a giant. The reason is mostly because I've been playing piano an incredibly long time and started young so my palms and fingers are flexible. However,my teacher said he taught Marc Yu when he was 8 and he couldn't play Fantasie Impromptu for the sole reason that his hands were too small.
the best way to reach all the keys is to practice stretching out you hands. that's why most people have trouble with piano when they start at an older age. Their hands aren't used to being stretched out

@xXSweeneyLovettXx It depends on what fingers you use and how deep you put your fingers. It's easier for certain fingers to exert force than others (compare your index finger's force with the ring finger's). It also helps a lot if you move your fingers somewhat deeper, because you can reach all the notes better. The gap between keys is smaller at the piano's side, than the players side, so you can reach further.
@xXSweeneyLovettXx Well, i have to agree that he played wonderful peace of music pretty good, but if you cannot reach those keys, you might consider you being kinda bad :S
@xXSweeneyLovettXx He is rolling the chord slightly. You do not need to leave your pinky on the bottom note. Keep in mind that on the left hand the lower notes are of the most importance so if you have to leave out a note because it is too far, leave the upper notes.
@Jingles94 I never once said the bass line is not important. I stand by what I've said. When playing chords on the left hand which are difficult to reach, if you must leave out a key, leave out the upper keys played by the left hand. That is all.

@lalagirl211 Yes it is true, Its about the holocaust, How 6 million jews were murdered by the nazis but 1 of them, schindler an owner of a factory that hired jews decided to save his workers... over 1000 people.
Its what he have gone through, He and his workers and what the jews have gone through over that time.

Good job man. Beautiful! I'm turning it into a metal song with electric guitar picking up from the ending. Ever since the 1st time I heard it all I could think about was this metal song i composed in my head. It's going to take me a year to come up with something good enough to fit in there.

@xXSweeneyLovettXx It depends on what fingers you use and how deep you put your fingers. It's easier for certain fingers to exert force than others (compare your index finger's force with the ring finger's). It also helps a lot if you move your fingers somewhat deeper, because you can reach all the notes better. The gap between keys is smaller at the piano's side, than the players side, so you can reach further.

@xXSweeneyLovettXx He is rolling the chord slightly. You do not need to leave your pinky on the bottom note. Keep in mind that on the left hand the lower notes are of the most importance so if you have to leave out a note because it is too far, leave the upper notes.

@Jingles94 I never once said the bass line is not important. I stand by what I've said. When playing chords on the left hand which are difficult to reach, if you must leave out a key, leave out the upper keys played by the left hand. That is all.
