  • i love marco swearing in spanish, excuse me if this is incorrect, Zangano!!

  • @ELMATO9 Zangano can be an insult depending on the area you are, in south american spanish it may be an insult (well, They are both south american) but in Spain, zangano its not really an insult. It can be someone who is jsut lazy (zangano=male royal bee. Only used for sex with the queen)

  • @ExtremeAggressioN1 much appreciated

  • what did he say at at 2:33?

  • Sorry, sweety...

  • WU HUKK!

  • i think its weird that marco finds the slower and louder think unhelpful...wen people talk to me in spanish i find it very helpful

  • @hoticecube well when someone knows absolutely nothing about a language, speaking slower and louder really won't help at all. you don't suddenly get what they're saying if they do it that way, otherwise learning another language would be easy. the situation would be different if you knew some of the language, but you needed it to be spoken slowly so you could understand it better and have time to translate it in your head.

  • Seems like 5 people cant speak english

  • haha Turk and cheese ;D

  • wat ep and season is this?

  • Kay my ass!!

  • "Sangano!"

  • Comment removed

  • I'm in love with Freddy Rodriguez.

  • "You say something and I´ll laugh so he thinks we´re mocking him."

"Marco, I´m not going to do that."

    "Hahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaahaha.. XD

  • ohh c mon turk woud kick his ass

  • "Que" My Ass! lolz

  • awesome actor :D

  • why didnt turk punched that puta back

  • @BeterGaJe cuz turk has respect for him

  • hahahah 2:10 someone say something bout cheese?

  • Why is her brother white?

  • hahaha "sorry sweetie" haha

  • See I told you- *Punch* X_X

  • They don't have the same accent and they're brothers xD

Is quite obvious that Freddy Rodríguez doesn't speak Spanish very often and Judy Reyes does.

Anyway is better than the Spanish version in which we have to see that they are Italian.

  • Have you seen the movie "L'auberge espagnole"? Perfect example why dubbing doesn't work.

  • "que my ass" lol

  • Marco don't speak a correct spanish, as many people in the serie they speak a very baaaad spanish

  • and you speak a very baaaad english

  • well, your english isn't too hot either...

  • @doctorweir maybe they're speaking a different spanish then you know. And like many people said before your english isnt that good so dont criticize

  • @doctorweir When they speak german its sounds awefull to. Except Eliot. She's speaking german so *rawr*

  • @gamer999banch

but Elliot's German is way to exaggerated. She speaks more in the southern German dialect than pronouncing it the right way...

  • Sangano...Ha

  • Hahaa, his laugh at 1:29. Hilarious

  • cabeza de melon!!!! hahahah :)

  • i like her brother hes cool

  • Ahhh, Senior Pinky.

  • I don't know if Freddy Rodriguez was born in the USA or not, but any native spanish speaker can see that he doesn't speak spanish as fluently as Carla. He speaks way better english than spanish.

  • ''told ya'' and the punch...best scene

  • the look on his face at 3:21 is priceless! freddy rodriguez is one underrated actor...should be in more mainstream roles

  • WTF!!! i dont think latin spanish would be like that.. spanish of SPAIN is the best

  • That's Central American Spanish.

  • No, it's not. It's downright incomprehensible. Especially in Andaluzia, they talk too fast and too high-pitched.

The worst part of trying to communicate with a Spanish tourist is not that they're hard to understand, however, but how they won't make an effort to understand YOU even when you're being courteous and speaking Spanish (which you're not obligated to do, seeing as they're visiting your country). Latin American tourists are much more considerate.

  • Well, I AM from Andalucía (100%), and you would never hear me speak in Spanish in front of a non-Spanish speaker if I can help it... unless that person would like me to do so.

You know, anyway, we Spanish people have another culture, and we may not speak other languages as other countries, but we are so far very warm and welcoming -you should keep that in mind before you speak like that again.

  • It's kind of rude to expect people to speak your language perfectly when you're abroad, and no amount of "cultural sensitivity" will make up for that.

If you don't know how to speak another language to make yourself understood, make an effort. You're a tourist, you should be prepared for such an occasion-learn basic English, some helpful words in the host language ...refusing to speak anything but Spanish and worse, refusing to make an effort to understand the other person is incredibly rude.

  • For the record, I never said that Andaluzians speak in front of non-Spanish speaking people in Spanish. I said that, in my opinion, their accent is hard to understand for a Spanish speaking outsider. Other people might think differently.

  • That's not true. I do not know how many Spanish people you know, but the million I do try to speak the minimum English they have learned at school when they are with English speakers, wherever they are.

Besides, did you know that Andalusian accent is very frequently considerate as bad/good to Spanish as American accent to Englih is?

  • First you admit that Spanish tourists abroad do not speak other languages and justify it as being a cultural thing, and then you claim they speak English whenever possible when around English-speaking people. Which is it?

I live in a very touristic country and regione, the mass of Spanish tourists not only refuses to speak anything but Spanish but they also tend to become annoyed when they realize you can't understand them.If you do not partake in this horrible habit good on you but it happens.

  • What I said is that they can't speak English enough and that they do not want to learn it, THAT is a bad habit, and that is part of the cultural thing I mentioned before. But the little they know, they speak it, specially Andalusian people. I have never been in America with Spanish tourists, but I have been in another countries with lost of them, and I can assure you they TRIED to speak the little English the know, and when they can't, then they speak Spanish.

  • It's good that you travel with such considerate people, but that's exactly the opposite of my experience. Like I said, I deal with many tourists in a daily bases as an effect of my location and I frequently have this kind of communication problems with Spanish tourists and the type of French tourists who travel on mobile houses. It's my experience.

Look, don't sweat it. If you don't do this kind of thing, I have no beef with you - you shouldn't be reliable for other people's asshattery.

  • But there are people like that everywhere - Not only in Spain and and France. But I PROMISE you the at least half of Spanish people is not like that, and I think I still do know more Spanish people than you, wherever the touristic zone you live in.

  • Your promise does not invalidate what I have observed, time after time after time, to be true. I salute you, really, if you don't do these sorts of things, but I shouldn't be expected to cut an asshole any slack just because he happens to share a country with considerate people such as you and your friends.

Let me ask you a question, do you believe me when I tell you I tend to have a problem with Spanish tourists? Do you have any reason to believe that I am lying?

  • I do not think you're lying, if I did, I wouldn't argue with you. I've also seen Spanish people that are that slack to be that rude, but not because they are Spanish, as you pointed out before, as there are people like that everywhere else (I've seen here American people acting like that). So we just shouldn't be talking about 'Spanish', 'French', 'German' or 'American' people...

  • Um. Where did I say they were rude because they were Spanish? I clearly said they were rude because they refused to speak anything but their language of origin. That, of course, extends to all nationalities. I only stated that I observed, in my experience, that Spanish tourists were more likely to do so than most other nationalities. Not because they were Spanish. Beats me if I know why.

  • So, my point is> No matter the percentage, please,do not say WE SPANISH people are the one that rude, that's all, thank you!

  • I NEVER SAID THAT. GOSH.

I said that I have observed most Spanish tourists that I have encountered not to make an effort to understand other languages when abroad. I continue to stand by this assertion.

Unless you think these asshats represent you as a people, which personally I think they don't, I don't know why you, or the Spanish people, should be offended.

  • Because now you're making a distinction, but whoever read your first comment, would think as all Spanish people as the same you described. And I'm sorry if I'm being tedious, but actually I felt a little offended.

  • If I came across that way, I didn't intend it. I think it was fairly straightforward that I was speaking out of experience since, well, how else can you base your opinions? But I guess it's easy being offended when compatriots are involved.

  • As far as I understood, you didn't stated it just as your opinion, but as a universal truth. Sorry if I misunderstood, but that was what it seemed to me in your first comments.

And kinda of that, though, it's funny, I'm not very 'typical Spanish' and not very patriotic, actually I like other countries much more than I like Spain, but that does not mean I repect

  • Like I said, I could not possibly speak out of universal knowledge -no one can, really, unless they know every Spanish. I thought it went without warning.

However, take my opinion for what it's worth: I live in a very touristic area, I'm accosted by many tourists a day asking for directions and even worked part-time in a hotel while a teenager. I have access to a lot of Spanish tourists and have observed the same thing. However, if you, a national, tell me that it's not representative, so be it.

  • Yeah, let's conclude on that, please.

  • *respect my own country and culture

  • *But that does not mean I do not respect my own country and culture - sorry, two mistakes.

  • Anyway, I hate talking about these things, I like to think that everyone is different because oneself, not because the region they belong. I like to think countries is just a political matter, but we all belong to the world and not to a country and its single culture.

Sorry for the orthographic mistakes I might have made, I'm still learning.

  • The "frequently considered" opinion is irrelevant as I was stating my own opinion - I do find the Andalusian accent harder to understand than the others, and most of Latin American accents easier than European Spanish. I'm sorry, but it's not a jab at you, you needn't be so defensive - just my objective opinion derivated from experience. Others might disagree, but I do know people who find the same as me.

  • This is not a jab at you either, but you are saying that the people I live with is very rude towards others, and I can't understand that. And yes, that's exactly what I mean, for YOU Andalusian accent may be more difficult, as American accent is harder for most English students.

  • No, you're not understanding. Let me make this clear for you.

I DON'T THINK ANDALUSIAN PEOPLE ARE RUDE. I think SPANISH people who go abroad and refuse to speak anything but Spanish are rude, just like I think, for example,German people who go abroad and refuse to speak anything but German are rude. Unlike Germans, however, I have observed Spanish tourists to be more likely to engage in such behaviour. I have NO BEEF WHATSOEVER with Spanish people who go abroad and make an effort to understand.

  • Independenly, I find Andalusians harder to understand in general, and this is not meant, by any means, to pass off as anything but my own personal opinion. This weights NOTHING whatsoever in Andalusians' friendly demeanour or lack of thereof. This was never my point.

  • I, whatever it may seem, respect your opinion, because I can understand you may it find harder, but I'm just telling you, as an anecdote, that it happens the same thing with the American accent.
