  • last time i quit i was off them for over 100 days, then suddenly out of no where found myself back on them again :( big mistake. i felt amazing when i didn't smoke! now i'm back to feeling how i used to feel before i quit the first time. after watching and doin what the doc says and pictured everything etc it got me thinking mad. i want to get off them for good and never smoke again. im going to smoke one more before bed, wake up tomorrow and watch this again and do my best to not smoke. peace!

  • I quit smoking a month ago today, the first week so flipping difficult, but then you get over it within the first week. All it takes in my opinion, is motivation and lots of willpower.

  • This dude is a bad ass!

  • I am so glad I stopped I not only can go running without getting out of breath but I feel amazing just amazing.

And my teeth are 10 times whiter lol

  • i want to quit so bad , Im a bad chain smoker , its hard though been smokin for 4 years :/ i need a stupid cig every fukin hour or 2 :< ima try and quit or at leat cut back alot

  • @graydays79 Its been 10 months whats has happened to you since?

  • @BusinessEdgeRadio i did stop for about a day or 2 but started right back up i smoke about 4 or 5 cigs a day now still bad :/

  • @graydays79 have you tried the e-cigs?

  • @BusinessEdgeRadio noo i havent they good ?

  • @graydays79 Yes and no see I used to smoked cigs for close to 10 years, I was able to quit cause years back after I had gotten the swine flue and I didn't smoke since. Lucky for me me I was basically unable to move for 2 weeks so after that 2 weeks I just never lit back up. My Sister has been smoke now for close to 15 years and she got this e-cig and its helped her cut back allot but she still smokes the reason for that is while it feels like youre smoking (cont)

  • (cont) it doesn't mimic the full experience of smoking like ashing and lighting the cigarette. When you smoke a real cig you know when to stop cause the cig dies out but an e-cig can last non-stop in a sense. I took single drag off the e-cig cause I wanted to see what it was like about a month back and for me personally it was everything I remembered smoking to be (even left the cig taste in my mouth after words) yuk *lol Anyhow my final verdict is this as follows (cont)

  • (cont) the E-cig will not quit smoking for you but if you really want to quit it will allow you to do so better then anything that will ever come on the free market. I personally think the best way to really quit is to get sick as hell you have to get so sick that you cant move (cont)

  • (cont) So sick that it hurts very badly to even try to smoke. After about 2-3 weeks of horrible sickness your logical mind can take over and you can reason yourself to not smoke. Right now your mind is beyond reasoning (no offense, of course) but its true, that part of your brain is insane right now which I am sure you already now. I hope I was able to help and I wish you all the best.

  • @BusinessEdgeRadio thanks for the info ill look into buying some ecigs thanks :>

  • @graydays79 Make sure you get a good one. Accept reviews only from people who have had theirs for a month or so, not ones that just got theirs. The 7-11 Xhale 02 electronic cigarette is bullshit and can break with in a few days. Then you have to mail it back in but then again it does come with 4 cartridges so paying 20 bucks for the equivalent of 2 to 4 packs (depending on when it breaks) maybe an okay deal as far as your are concerned.

  • and your only motivation is a sincere concern for my health ? or are you just trying to free up beds ? or save them for patients who are suffering from conditions which you do approve of ? thank you for painting a picture of me dying a awful death... and likewise for telling me i'm selfish....

  • Thanks doc

  • If we do 'nothin' on this planet, we will have to come back, that is why I DO SOMETHING like the man says. I want this to be my last trip. Its a lovely place the next dimension, and that is where I shall be watching you do nothing, and nothing is very hard to do, it is boring and boredom is fatal almost as fatal as smoking

  • We are all going to die... not trying to be dark or anything but why let out on simple pleasures and fight people who use them...? is it worth your time or the tax money? more people die of all other ways so should we just not do anything ever?

  • if yoy tell yourself 50 times daily 'I am a non smoker, smoking is harmful to your health' you will stop, listen to the doc

  • PeaceNLove2Ya! Thank you!

  • I am anon smoker however I wanted to thank you Dr. You are among the rare doctors who promotes the smoke free policies I guess! I wish more people would write to governements to let them know that they had enough of second hand smokes into apartment buildings, parks, in the front of stores, movie theatre.. Great video ! Wise!

  • I'm 29 years old and smoking sucks!!!trust me!!!I'm a 15 year x smoker...I quit 2 days after watching this video...It is now day 12 without a smoke....I'm not saying the video made me quit but it did help. Thanks for posting this video...

  • Thanks Dr Mark Harris. I found your video very good and helpful and very clever as well so thanks!!!

  • I stopped but I gave in to temptation twice however it was my chioce not because I feel I'm addicted to them. I smoked 2 packs of 10 cigs last weekend and then just stopped as if I had not smoked them. I stoped at the end of may and it occured to me that I'm not addicted to smoking and I never was I just thought I was. So to me its a choice, you either smoke or you don't but if you stop its going to make you feel bad because its a posion leaving the body.

    Pease and thanks.

  • You helped me to stop 3 days now so thank you, this might be the last battle because this time I'll win.

  • you remind me of heff

  • thanks for the up load!

  • AWESOME. Thankyou so much for posting this video

  • Thank you so much for this video! I'm on day 4 now! With so many good support videos on youtube, there in no way I'll go back to smoking. kind regards..

  • Great approach. Annoying bachground noise on video. The UK government collect £9000,000,000a year from tax on cigarettes - they don't want us to stop smoking. On top of that the fag industry & shops that sell cigarettes don't want you to stop smoking...good reasons to stop!

  • IT's too addictive no 1 will stop and they will pass it on to their children!

  • Wrong man, you fail yourself if you say that and you do indeed smoke, you make it harder for others to quit with that negativity. It is possible to stop and its hard but once you crack it, its much easyer to giveup again if you just had say a few due to temptation, soon as you say I'm not having one you're a none smoker.

    Its a choice.

  • The people telling you to, "stop preaching" are retarded. If I had any feelings left, I would have cried. I care enough about self-prservation to be affected by what you said. Thanks.

  • love for the Lord thy God and daily prayer is also very effective, not just for addiction, but for many issues in life. healing from the inside out.prayer and meditation.

    God bless.

  • weed is medicine ;P

  • Right, if you don´t smoke it

  • wow - that was amazing.. great use of rhetoric and confidence.

  • this doctor is good

  • omg this is the best video ever i hope this will help me stop but i all so have to stop smoking weed!
