@videobyD Its not "the dragon" because to me it doesn't sound as nice. To have the line "THE cold iron throne" sounds forced where as "A cold iron throne" sounds more open and almost a little bit mysterious and I like it better.

The lyrics are good and I like how you've done the instrumentation, but I think it would definitely serve to maintain the tempo of the original composition. Djawadi's pacing was epic, moving and yet was kissed by melancholy. Know what I mean?

Beautiful. HBO would do well to ask you to make the opening credits for the next season. For this season this would've been nicer than the strange mechanical stuff.
@BauKim I definitely enjoyed the "strange mechanical stuff" quite a bit, personally, but I wouldn't mind seeing this wonderful video make its way into the second season. Not at all.
@BauKim I think this would be a good closing credits song. Opening credits have to be a bit flashy and pumped up to get you into the setting. The episodes almost always end on a dramatic note, this would be a great closing credits song. Anime has both an opener and a closer and it helps with warming and cooling down the emotional gravity of a serie :)

Not a problem at all. This song is ridiculously amazing. I listen to it almost everyday now. I started reading the books from the show, and a friend linked this on facebook while we were talking about the books. Awe inspiring, very moving, and phenomenal vocals. 5 internets to you.

"A crown held by lies" would have been better than "laced in lies". "Laced" is a bit too dissonant.

Honestly have people lost their minds, I don't often see comments commenting on JayZ or 50Cent's grammar (which really does need to be criticized). It is called Poetic license, stop whining over a few misplaced apostrophes, it has no effect on the actual song.
