Catholics seemingly will follow anything supernatural, visions of Mary and the like have to be Satanic there is no logical reason or purpose for such visions, and appearances of Mary it is contrived to lead people astray, and eventually to Hell.

I don't care about the differences in what you and I believe. What I do care about are the differences in what the Bible says according to what you believe. 2Tim3:16-17 only claims Scripture is "profitable" (Greek: ophelimos)which means helpful. Notice that the passage nowhere even hints that Scripture is "sufficient" which is what you think the passage means by using your own private interpretation

There was no Bible for 400 years after Christ's death, and it wasn't even distributed for 1500 years after His death. If the Bible is the only way to get us to heaven, then what happened to those millions of poor souls who never had a Bible during the 1500 year period?

You need to get familiar with basic history. Jesus Christ established a Church to proclaim the good news. He never intended on having the Bible be the sole infallible guide for the Christian faith. This is why the Catholic Church is one, and your Protestant denominations are 30,000. Case Closed. I'm done arguing with you.

My guess is that you are not sure what the gospel is and what it means. If you did you would know that the Bible is the only infallible source and sole authority in matters of faith. You missed the point. It isn't about me, I was taught right. My point was sometimes some people need a little reminding or something to inspire them. I have a christ filled life, I'm doing just fine. Other people out there can't say the same thing. If they think they are seeing a miracle and it brings them closer to going to church and knowing about the Lord I see nothing wrong with that. If you rely on Christ alone for eternal life, then that's wonderful. I hope you do. I would say, though, that God may use a situation like that window in a chain of events to work good in the life of someone who belongs to Him, but that event in itself is an unbiblical and sinful event and God is clear about that in the scriptures. We don't come to God by any means necessary- faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of Christ (Rom. 10:17) not by staring at streaks in a window.

You must understand what the Bible says about such things before you can make such accusations against me. I'm assuming you're Catholic so I can also assume then that you don't know the Bible and what it teaches especially in regards to idolatry, Mary, and the gospel. Did you ever think that sometimes some people just need a little hope, or reminder. BTW, as far as the worshipping goes. NO CATHOLIC WORSHIPS ANYONE BUT GOD! I went to catholic school for 8 years, I was never told to worship mary, saints etc.. You said it was sad to see, but do you think everyone believes Jesus Christ is our lord and savior? I was of the understanding that catholic priests do use the King James however, they do not wish for their following to read the Bible and they claim it's because the Word of God is too complicated to understand and only the priest could explain it to them.

Comparing the Virgin Mary to Janet Jackson is horrible. The Catholic church was the only form of Christianity for the first 1,000 years. Even after a group seperated they still keep many of the same Catholic traditions to this day. Protestantism, in it's entirety, is people who think they can choose what they think Jesus would want them to do and don't realize that Jesus already has a specific calling for them in the Catholic Church. I made no comparison- my point was that these streaks could be said to look like anything. The Roman Catholic church left it's first love many centuries ago. The Reformation was about returning to scripture- the ONLY authority. Jesus's calling is to all people to repent and believe the gospel- not be in the Catholic church. It would do you well to learn the gospel, read and study the Bible, and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ ALONE through faith ALONE and by grace ALONE for eternal life.
