Also how effective to learn all these foreign norms when eventually might not pay off the way we think. E.g look at Indian students been attacked in Australia. Was these attack targetted students with indian passport ?? No... its the RACE.
I hope that these students will stay in their country and help save it, so that there will continue to be a Bangladesh. They must realize that their training is the best that the world can offer. And I am very impressed by their achievements.
By the way.. I couldn't help notice how the girl giggleed when talking about biharis..was funny!!.. I know that bald man and his daughter in orange sari.. really good family freinds.. was good to see them in the video... thanks again Julie..good work..
thanks for posting this Julie as ppl will see how despite all the negative things we hear about b'desh..we do have some very high standard education systems.. I live in AU now but i actually went to American International School/Dhaka all my life..which was the first international school in dhaka...its good to see how so many other education providers have done so well for the future of our country..good work julie!!!
we have had in'l schools in bd for quite a while now. isd is one of the more recent ones and according most of its critics the most most expensive one. A large number of students have graduated from them and have joined the 'top' universities in north america and europe. most of them are currently holding some very important positions at different levels all around the world, as i am sure the makers of this video will!
First of all getting into a top american or european uni in these days isnt a big deal considering u can afford the tuition, But watching the video it seems like theres lot of foreign instructor there and obviously a huge amount of foreign currency relocating from this poor nation. So considering this fact is that necessary to allow this much currency to outflow to cater to the need of the elite. But when these students go to 'the dream skools' they will find its all asian in the faculty.
This is excellent! I am very proud of you guys. You cant even imagine how blogging, podcast, etc. still an unfamiliar territory for many people here in the United States and other part of the so called "Modern World". Keep it up!
Hi Julie I am a Mexican English Language teacher. I enjoyed your video because it gave me a pretty good idea of your work with podcasts. Congratulations
Thanks Julie for posting this one. I saw the video you did about your drive to work. Consider adding it as well. I think it added some great context to teaching in India.

hello. This is a fantastic idea. I have a question though. Who is your audience? Is it limited to only ISD students?
