Some kids just don't like shots.. Hell I still hate shots! As a kid, I don't know I think the ice would have worked me up more.

Personally I am a fan of bribery. I am sure this is not recommended by the "specialists" but yeah. I give a gift after the shot. Just a little toy or something she wanted. We also go out for ice cream.
