I drove a new GT convertible with my grandpa, he's going to buy one. I was impressed with the handling improvements over my 06 GT, you can turn much better on higher torque and overall the suspension feels tighter and more solid than the 05-09's...however I told him to wait for 2011 GT's this spring with the 5.0. V8. The 32-valve, 5.0liter V8 in the 2011 Mustang GT will have 412hp and 390lbs.ft. of torque, while getting 25mpg highway, and weighing only 10lbs more than the current 4.6L 3-Valve
Right now they are giving very good deals on the 2010's as they knkow the 5.0L is out.
You can get as much as 5k off an MSRP on 2010 GT. And specification wise the 5.0 is not SIGNIFICANTLY better just recently posted by car and driver. Your going to get a few 10th's in a stride from 0-60 in 4.5-4.9 seconds. And the quarter mile in the high 12's. I'd save 5-7k get the dealer to drop a supercharger and track pack on it and walk away with a bad ass mustang instead with lower insurance costs.

I have a 2001 Taurus with almost 170,000 miles that i drive in the winter and the only issue i have had is the alternator, it has been a great car. I may get the new SHO this spring but i want to wait for 2011 mustangs before i make that decision!!
Yes the new ecoboost engine is impressive and the new Taurus is a very advanced car compared to it's competitors. Beautiful car! I'm glad Ford is finally drawing on it's European division and bringing it to the US
