I'm only 15 and I covered Drifting last year. Go out buy the tabs off of his website and look up some tutorial videos. @KJaySloan I would not say light years more talented than myself. I got rhythm buddy. Takes me about a week to 2 weeks to get a song down. Might not be perfect, but I know how to improvise. I even have my own style however depressing it is. I have made a few girls weep. I am good enough that that I kind of know my potential but I am not there yet. I have only been playing for 10 years. 5 of which was completely self taught in confinement with no sheet music or videos or lessons. tyvm

It works pretty well to throw on some 14-57 strings (Heavy) on a standard guitar, then tune down to the C range. ;) Depending on the guitar, of course.

Well you can't tune it to baritone tuning (AEABEG#) on a standard guitar - but it's in a Dmaj9th tuning nonetheless. So on standard guitar its DADEAC# Low-High...I posted a really sloppy video response of me playing it on a standard guitar without a metronome -- still it helps when hearing the proper intervals when you're trying to learn it. Good luck hope this helps!

@hanklemieux123 Well yes E is scale degree 2 and I see why the confusion has ensued. In basic chord grammar you learn that tonal chords are based on intervals of thirds. So for chords, structure wise you usually have a triad of 1,3,5, then up you add 7,9,11,13 (9,11,13 are degrees 2,4,6 of the scale) to accent the chord as you wish. It is different than naming in the scale because 8 is really just scale degree 1, if you think about it. DMajor9 means the full chord is D, F#, A, C#, E

I just love the way that by adding just a small port hole on the top side of the upper bout on his custom built Greenfield Baritone makes it sound so much more spacious. I am having a local luthier here in Portland add one to my Guild cv-2. Since all of the woods are the same as this model G4 and mine, even though the guild is a shorter scale, I am hoping to get some of the same resonance.
