  • Millianas I sorry to here about your grandmother... I've watch this many times (especially when I get brave enough to cook cornbread stuffing). I don't know which I enjoy best the instructions, or watching you and her interact. They are both so special. One thing I didn't understand about the youtube was at the beginning your grandmother talk about the ingredients, and milk was one of them. What did she do with the milk?

  • Using Jiffy is not strange at all. There are lots of people who use it. I have been using it since I have been cooking dressing and it taste delicious.

  • I like the way you fast forwarded...lol

  • Go, grandma which mine was still here to help me learn. Great ideas. I am trying to find alternatives to low salt dressing.

  • Your Grandma is so kind and patient:)

  • I was not hurt I was just trying to get you to think. I think my mother would say it did not hurt her to do what she did. She would say it helped her build character.

  • I apologize for my rude actions. I didn't mean to upset you. I just was mad at the whole world. Please forgive me. I didn't realize it could hurt you. I understand your point of view. For your mother to go through all that it's terrible (about the working in the fields and walking 3 miles to school). I'm truly sorry.

  • @demiere1998 Demiere, I think you are wonderful! Do you know that most adults and not do what you just did! I believe you are going to be great some day. I feel really good about you.

Keep working hard and if you make a mistake ask for forgiveness and move on. When you feel mad take a minute and relax. Remember you have a wonderful life in front of you. The world has been waiting on someone like you.

  • you can put sage in if you like it. Her son (me) does not like sage so she does not put it in when she is making if for me. when she is at my sister's house she does what my sisters like. Enjoy it with what you like. This is just a base of what you can do. For the most part I just wanted to film this moment with a couple of my best girls. Trust me you will like it.

  • @demiere1998 Think before you type. That is a lesson I learned from my mom.

  • @demiere1998

Demiere I want you to enjoy what you are doing. Cook with your parents and love them because they love you. Nothing in this world can replace that.

  • @msboutmine- Not really. The Jiffy Corn bread provides a kind of sweetness with the cornbread dressing. The girl and her grandma are cheating. I'm only 13 but my parents have been doing it old school for years with homemade cornbread and using a small saucepan and everyting. I think I'm beating my momma at the recipe.

  • @demiere1998 Cheating? that is a strong word. sorry you feel that way. My mother can cook this many ways but this is the way her son (me) likes it. It works and this is what I want. You can do it anyway you would like. When my mother was a kid she worked in the fields before she walked 3 miles to school. Now I drive my daughter to school. do you think i am cheating? Think about that long and hard.

  • I THINK IT'S AWESOME TO HAVE YOUR GRANDMA TO TEACH YOU HOW TO COOK. BUT ONE QUESTION.....YOU USE JIFFY MIX IN YOU HAME MADE DRESSING?? THAT'S STRANGE...

  • @msboutmine1 Because it works.

  • @msboutmine1 Try it you will like it.

  • Loved it wish My GrandMa was here to cook with!!

  • Bless her heart...she's too young to understand right now because she's too young to grip how lucky she is...but lucky her...her folks are recording this for her now so she will be confident in teaching her next generation not only how to cook her grandma's recipes but how important family is...I wish I could have been able to know grandma...I would have followed her recipe for cooking and maybe in life lessons to!! Maybe not!!

  • thank you!

  • I SEEN 10 VIDEO BEFORE THIS ONE....STEP BY STEP...PERFECTION!!!!!!!! THX GRANDMA!!

  • thank you for your kind words.

  • It's wonderful to see young girls cooking with their grandmother. In this society, most grandmothers are in their thirties and they are not thinking about being in the kitchen. Beautiful.
