Of course it's boring, it's a training video for those of us who want to learn. Taking the time to learn this stuff is mandatory for such a sim.
As for the textures, I personally think that they look fine. Sure, they don't look like what you'd see in CoD: MW2 or Madden, but the point of a sim in the first place is by no means its graphics. I like to think of nice visuals in a sim as a bonus rather than a requirement.
I don't get it, why can't we get these tutorials in miz files so we can follow them in game? instead of links to videos..
