Ms. Aretha Franklin can say whatever she wants, I would listen to her recite her grocery list before I would listen to a lot of people give their version of life's insights. She is a gift from God to us all. I also don't think she told anyone to shut up, that just isn't her style, and the woman most definately has style.

What a joke! If anything she was accenting the last phrase she was singing that might of made it sound like she would say that, but no she didn't say shut up. That is her & other artists style of song & singing. Read into it what you want. On another tip, I don't buy into the "black" woman sings the "My Country Tis of Thee" song just because we have a black president now. To me that's still racist & it's not like all of the sudden the racists are gonna just cater to African Americans now.....

I don't believe that Aretha told anyone to shut-up during her performance. It would have been all over the net if she had. I think the uploader is pulling a funny one. They say in the video notes to go to the CNN site, but I didn't hear anything there. This video is a good one, though. I laughed my you-know-what off about all the comments and the video itself. Good job!
