  • envy you mine's slow.

  • @linkpro1234 Maybe the speed of your processor? Or the version of Dolphin you are using?

  • Yeah, the disk read and write speed is much higher on the RAM disk :)

  • There actually is a slight difference. The normal one hangs twice and the ramdisk one doesn't hang at all. :)

  • @sonic4life007 It also has vertex/pixel shader 4.1 and 4.5GB RAM. :)

Do u think my pc can run this game at full speed?

  • @chrislash10 Yeah, no doubt ^^.

  • Finally got my 2.4 GHz pc for christmas. Now, almost every wii/gc game runs 75-100% :)

  • @chrislash10 Nice :D!

  • i think is same?

  • @WarShock261996 Not really, ramdisk doesn't hang :)

  • @sonic4life007

doesnt hang??? -, you damn mothersucker, its the same!! Do you think we are stupid you ass! There is no differents and your video is bullshit!!!

  • Woah what game is that? My favorite Mario game...WITH BETTER GRAOHICS?!??!

  • @1zacster Super Mario Bro. Wii :D!!

  • hehe, i see a lot of thing here ^^

You have to get 3 Gb of Ram for a 32 bit Os or much more ( up to 32 Gb if your motherboard allowed it) for a 64 bit Os.

    CPU : 2 core CPU as a Core2Duo E6800 min !

GPU : you don't need the most powerfull. take a hd 5450 and you'll see what it deserve ^^

  • @samados969

I'll make a rig later. It' 5 am here. time to sleep, geeks'life ;D

  • you must be shit faced stupid not to see a comparison here. the normal lags, and the ramdisk runs smoothly

  • I tried everything to get dolphin work but I only get around 30-40 fps only donkey konga runs at 100 fps

    here my pc

    win7

3.00 GHZ Pentium D (but dolphin says I have Dual Core dont know why :D)

    2 GB Ram

    and a

NVIDIA GEFORCE 6200 Turbo Cache with around 825 MB ram

why IT dont work please help :(

  • How about :

    Laptop : HP Dv5 1125nr

Graphics : ATI Radeon HD 3200

    OS: Windows 7 (64 bit)

CPU : AMD Turion X2 Dual Core Mobile RM-72 2.10 GHZ

    Storage : 6GB

I'm running dolphin and it runs at a pretty low FPS each and everytime. I've tried basically every way possible to speed it up..and it's the same no matter what. Any ideas?

  • @IH8QU33RS I don't want to bash you, but it's not a very powerfull laptop :(.

You can play decent games on medium quality, but don't expect to see Dolphin in full-speed.

I don't really think there are tweaks to make it run faster on your hardware :(.

  • Specs

Graphics card: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250

    OS: Windows 7

CPU: AMD processor V120 2.2 GHz

    2GB ram

When I first took booted it up it was really slow....Is there anyway I can speed it up a lil?

  • You said before that i could tweak the settings. What would i have to change them to to at least have a playable speed. (50-70%)

btw, the sound is faster than the graphics on my emulator. ( which is why i wanted to speed it up)

  • My CPU Specs Are:

Graphics Card: Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3150

    OS: Windows 7

    Laptop: Acer Aspire One

CPU: Intel Atom Processor N450 (1.66 GHz, 512KB Cache)

    Storage: 160GB ( 104GB Left)

  • @chrislash10 I'm sorry to say this, but your hardware is... Let's say, not strong enough to run Dolphin at full-speed :(.

  • @sonic4life007

    MY CPU SPECS ARE:

    Graphic Card:Ati mobility radeon hd 4500 1gb

    OS:Windows 7 32 bit

CPU: Intel Pentium Dual Core 2.45 ghz 2.45

    RAM: 4Gb

can you tell me could i play this on full speed?

  • @bumtaksi I think you will get full speed yea.

    Like 90% - 100% most of the time :).

    It's a though job for a laptop ;).

  • @sonic4life007 thanks m8,i will download now some games to test it ;)

  • @bumtaksi Okai, GL :)!

  • it fuckin work i downloadedd it

  • @11335529 Nice :D!

  • Plus, how do you fix the "Create pixel shader" error?

  • @chrislash10 First, I need to know the specifications of your laptop, like what graphics card does it have, what CPU etc.

  • I also tried to run Luigi's Mansion on it and it crashed after the part where Luigi tries to open the locked door. (At the begining of the game.)

  • By the way, it is a laptop.

  • I do have a 120 GB External Hard Drive.Would it speed up the emulator if I run it on that?

  • The difference is that there is no difference.

  • is there anyway to speed up dolphin 3.0? (So it will be faster on my pc.)

  • @chrislash10 Well, you could tweak the settings, but if that doesn't help then I'm afraid you have to upgrade your hardware :(. You said you have a 1.66GHz processor, so I assume it's a laptop. If it's not a laptop, you could buy a new processor to gain more speed ;).

I don't think that there are programs out there that will speed up Dolphin a lot, because your processor has to emulate the game you know :( and that's a heavy job for your processor.

And btw, sorry for my English ;).

  • @chrislash10 if you have a 2 core or a 4 core pc you should enable the setting "Lock thread to cores" i really increases the speed of the emulator.

    hope this helps :)

  • @MrAtotheH Yea it helps, thanks :D!

  • @sonic4life007 glad I could help :D

  • It actually does work with a lot of games but it almost always 12-30% speed. :(

  • @chrislash10 True :o.

  • Is it possible to run that with 1GB of ram and 1.66Ghz ?

  • @chrislash10 I'm affraid not :(.

  • @NightDragon04 Yeah, you can run it perfectly with that hardware :3.

  • @Mrpeanutwaffle

Put the iso in the ramdisk :).

  • When i want to make a Ramdisk for dolphin must i put the ISO file in the ramdisk or the dolphin folder ? help me please

  • I dont get it in what does the ramdisk affect it? and what is it doing?

  • @aabb3ElOriginal It increases the disk read speed, so the game won't stutter :).

  • for gods sakes... if your going to do a comparison video, at least line it up right. the way you start, it makes it seem like the normal is way behind when, in fact, all it does is hang occasionally. If the filmed segment was done the same on both ends, it would make for a much better comparison.

  • @Geeksunitedvideos Yeah I know, sorry for that, but I'm not really good at making videos.

  • thanks mate :P

  • Why Normal means

  • @sautanxXxben10 Normal means no RAMDisk (SATA Hard Disk ;))

  • It's a program that makes a, let's say, virtual hard drive from yuor RAM, so you can run programs from your RAM. (Your RAM is 3 GB/s+ while the most SATA hard drives are only 35 MB/s). I hope I explained it good enough.

  • what is that ramdisk >?

  • I don't really se a difference xD

  • @dziugasiuka3 the normal hangs after a couple of seconds, pay attention to it.

    The ramdisk one never hangs.

  • No problem :).

  • downloading ramdisk... thanks for the vid!
